Bill Lockwood: Capitol Violence 4.5 (2)

Hypocrisy is not simply failing to live up to a standard, but is rooted in deceit. Our Lord accused the Jewish leadership of being “hypocrites” in the 23rd chapter of Matthew, not because they had failed to live faithfully to the law, but because they were power-brokers, establishing their own system while purposefully ignoring God’s Revealed Law. Hypocrisy points to ulterior motives. It is steeped in hidden agendas, double-dealing, dishonesty and duplicity.

The utter shock continued to be displayed by the MSM, the communists/socialists of America (aka Democrats), Big Tech, and the Main Stream Culture over what occurred at the Capitol last week is a case in point. No one, least of all myself, agree with violence or storming the Capitol building by anyone, be it a MAGA supporter or anyone else.

However, to continue to blame Donald J. Trump for what occurred, and beating the drums for his head on a platter, to use another biblical reference, illustrates hypocrisy in its deepest dye. We need to ask, what hidden agenda, what ulterior motive has the left for such blaming? Consider the constant hypocrisy Americans have witnessed over the past four years, all with the imprimatur of our cultural leaders.

Past Four Years

Lefty Madonna, before Trump sat in the Oval Office one day, spoke of “blowing up the White House” while Democrats present cheered by the hundreds. Remember also the riots where cars were set ablaze in Washington, D.C. because Trump had been elected. Which voice on the left did we hear condemning this?

Not to be outdone, Kathy Griffin posted a bloody picture of her holding “Trump’s head” in her hand. Democrats defended the violence-mongering. Then there was the Hamilton: An American Musical play, which openly challenged President Trump with VP Mike Pence in the audience. No voice was heard from the left in protest for “creating a violent atmosphere.” Another play, Julius Caesar, depicts the famous Roman dictator dressed as Donald Trump, being assassinated. The New York audience whooped and cheered, while Democrats sat silent. Liberal Snoop Dogg, the rapper, shot a “Lavender” video in which he portrayed the same thing. No objections from the left.

How about communist-lover Rep. Maxine Waters? A year after liberal James Hodgkinson actually shot U.S. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, as well as others—being completely motivated by leftist rhetoric of violence and killing—Maxine Waters, not seeking to “tone down the rhetoric,” infamously yelled at an open-air gathering to “get into their [Republican] faces” and tell them they are not wanted here or anywhere! One might think that one wicked witch haranguing against Republicans does not a case make. But the point is: when did we hear one single Democrat calling for her removal, discipline, or a tech company censoring her? Any MSM pundits condemn her? No. The underlying message was clear: violence is approved if against conservatives.

The atmosphere has been electrically charged by these Democrat war-mongers who encourage more violence against Republicans. Sarah Sanders, press secretary for Donald Trump, was run out of a public restaurant. Sen. Ted Cruz was publicly heckled and mobbed to leave another eating establishment. Attempted murder on a ball field made no difference to any Democrat. Aggression. Tucker Carlson and his family were harassed and threatened by leftist mobs. Sen. Rand Paul was attacked with a hammer in his yard by a leftist and sent to a hospital.

And who can forget the Brett Kavanaugh hearings? His life destroyed by Democrat lies on top of lies, Capitol Hill was turned practically into a war zone as Republican lawmakers were continually cornered and threatened by mobs roaming the halls. Offices were stormed, people were arrested. But the Democrats and MSM celebrated this as somehow the “working of Democracy.”

Finding their stride now, the Leftist Revolution led by Democrats continued. Eighteen months after the Kavanaugh hearings, Antifa gangs showed up at Trump rallies and marches in San Diego, in Phoenix, and other places. Violence occurred. This is what the right deserves, was the MSM take.

Then there were the George Floyd protests that invariably turned violent. Washington, D.C. had burning buildings; Chicago, Milwaukee, Seattle, Portland, Baltimore, and other cities all saw huge acts of riotous violence in which entire towns look like downtown Baghdad after bombers had struck. America watched on television as police headquarters were burned, enforcement officers were beaten, and Trump supporters were physically assaulted.

Did the communist-inspired left speak in condemnation of any of this? No. Instead, VP-elect Kamala Harris, bailed out of prison some of the rioters. She later publicly declared in debates, as did Joe Biden, that this was all “peaceful protest.”

Instead of mourning for this mayhem, the only thing we heard from Democrats when President Trump went to a burned-out Cathedral in Washington, D.C., and held up his Bible, was that he was the hypocrite taking advantage of a photo op. No remorse. No outrage. No unity to pull America out of the ashes. Just more hate.

In response, Democrat/communist leader in the House, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, tweeted that all violence was necessary. “The whole point of protesting is the make ppl feel uncomfortable.” “That’s the point.” Sally Kohn, liberal political commentator, could only say, “I don’t like violent protests, but I understand them.” (5/3/20).

Communist-inspired mobs attacked the Portland, OR courthouse for more than 60 days. Twenty-one Police officers were hospitalized. Portland mayor Ted Wheeler even joined rioters and participated in demonstrations. Finally, the mayor had to be escorted to safety. Seattle mayor Jenny Durkin encouraged and lauded the anarchists as they set up an “autonomous zone” in her city. Insurrection has been afoot for years and it is encouraged by the left. Monuments of America culture, including Confederate statues, memorials to presidents, and others have been ransacked—all encouraged by Democrats.

Dallas, TX saw the breakdown of the rule of law. Viewers could watch on television as young blacks beat into unconsciousness white people running down the street. Yet, no outrage from Democratic lawmakers. Why? Because their Marxist playbook calls for it. Burn it down. Police were told in these cities to “stand down.”

A piece in the left-wing journal Current Affairs argues that “destroying property is not in and of itself a violent act.” “The word ‘violence’ should be reserved for harm done to people,” wrote editor Nathan J. Robinson. CBS News’ Hannah Jones agrees. “Violence is when an agent of the state kneels on a man’s neck until all of the life is leached out of his body. Destroying property, which can be replaced, is not violence.”

And what about the Republican National Convention, the aftermath of which saw leaders such as Rand Paul physically attacked by Democrat-inspired mobs? Or the thousands of goose-stepping Democrats who literally occupied the Wisconsin Capitol building in Madison and physically occupied it for two weeks? “This is what Democracy looks like,” said the left. Even President-elect Joe Biden refused to condemn Antifa in the public debate with Donald Trump, chirping the liberal catch-line: “Antifa is only an idea.” Well, there are many people in America who are physically injured from this “idea.” But Joe could not bring himself to condemn any of it.

Then we are treated to AOC as well as Ilhan Omar both refusing to condemn any of this violence when asked about it on camera. Instead, they smugly walked by reporters who taunted them with the question of whether or not they were against the violence. And let us not forget Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi demonstrably on camera tearing up the State of the Union speech immediately after Trump finished speaking.

Colin Kaepernick, the infamous America communist-sympathizer, responded to all of these years of leftist violence with this tweet. “When civility leads to death [speaking of George Floyd], revolting is the only logical reaction.” “We have a right to fight back.” So violence and destruction is all right—as long as the cause is justified. He has been endorsed by major sports teams as well as corporate America.

We deplore the Capitol violence. But for the reasons above we do not condemn the thousands of peaceful protestors who went to Washington, D.C. last week to legitimately exercise their patriotic and constitutional right to voice their opinion on the election. We uphold them and champion them. And we will not be so naïve as to vilify them by lumping them all into the category of the lawbreakers who stormed the Capitol.

Most of all, we do not intend to be lectured about the besieging of the Capitol by the Marxist Left that has sponsored, endorsed, and excused violence for four solid years.

For the MSM and the Democrats to feign outrage over the type of violence that they have patronized is diabolical hypocrisy. Their true agenda is the total overthrow of American liberty. As our Lord put it, these liberals have “compassed sea and land to make one proselyte” but they have made them “more than a twofold son of hell more than” themselves (Matt. 23:15).

Harsh words. Tough times.

Hatred causes people to do unimaginable things. Pouring forth from the leftist cultural elites, directed toward conservatives, has been the most poisonous and vile attacks we have ever witnessed. It was exacerbated from the very moment Donald J. Trump was announced the winner of the presidency in 2016. It continues until this hour, even after Biden “defeated” Trump for the White House.

One of the chief purveyors of the gall of bitterness is the former First Lady herself, Michelle Obama. She proposes that Trump be banned from social media platforms forever. First Amendment be hanged. Socialist Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, without one scintilla of real evidence, blames Trump for inciting this week’s attack at the US Capitol. Today, the Democrats of Congress are pressuring Trump’s cabinet to remove him office or else face another impeachment debacle. Never again will a conservative be brave enough to raise his or her head out of the bunker.

Not to be outdone, president-elect Joe Biden throws more fuel on the seething fire in America by ignorantly and ludicrously stating that resistance to rioters in Washington, D.C. would have been treated differently had they been Black Lives Matter protestors.

A more willfully ignorant and inciting commentary could not be made. BLM and Antifa, as well as all other of the Marxist leftists in America, have burned cities to the ground so that at the epicenter of these riots look like Baghdad in the aftermath. These are styled “peaceful” by the establishment, and one would be hard-pressed to find one single BLM person killed in any of the mayhems that engulfed our cities this past four years.

Yet, practically every single one of them occurred because police were told to “stand down.” Apparently, no one wants to “anger” the thugs that dance on cop cars and smash store windows or set fire to buildings lest they be called the forbidden term “racist.”

Biden, in bed with the MSM, continues to demonize Trump and half of the American electorate all of the time by blaming them for everything wrong in America. This turns everything into a powder keg—and they know it.  They are daring the American right to act out.

In the wake of the Capitol riot on Wednesday of this week, news stations are now all telling us that “this nation needs to come together and heal.” I hate to break this news to America, but that is not going to occur. Not because those of us on the right do not wish for it and pray for it. Not because we endorse violence. But because ultimately, our worldview is completely at odds with those on the left—and it has been for over 100 years. The gap is widening.

The differences between left and right today are irreconcilable. America is on the road to tyranny, and only the foolish or late-comers to the game fail to realize it. Those of us who live on the right want to live in law-abiding freedom and liberty, unhindered by government control. The left wishes to control us and take our hard-earned money for every globalist, socialistic, communistic, and selfish project that they can conceive. Confiscation of middle-class earnings today is close to 50% in many cases—all so that the left can redistribute it and ingratiate to them the masses of people who know no better.

It needs not even be said that the Constitution makes no difference whatsoever to the socialist Democrat Party. Citing the law of the land and the basic principles upon which our nation was founded is an exercise in futility. We are preaching to the choir.

But the differences go much deeper than this. At the heart of the issue is the belief in God and His Holy Word. God places responsibility for sin and all its consequent societal problems in the heart of man. “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23).

Socialism/Communism sees the root of societal problems in the amount of money one possesses or opportunities that are offered. Redistribution is the sole solution. Vergilius Ferm, in his Encyclopedia of Religion, explains this gross error of socialism.

American socialism is heir to the tradition of materialism and atheism. It relies on the growth of automatic perfection, not indeed by virtue of the given natural faculties of man, but as the product of causally inevitable economic changes. The result is parallel to that of the liberal utopia, a self-contained world of man, individualistic here, collectivist there, and redeemed from evil, once and for all, by the economic process, much as this requires men conscious of their opportunity. This is an overtly anti-Christian doctrine.

The fact that even those who occupy pulpits, such as Raphael Warnock, recently elected to Congress in GA, pipe the false gospel of “social justice,” shows how deeply rooted socialism has become.

The most bitter pill in all of recent events is the fact that for all intents and purposes, free elections, and thus freedom, is a thing of the past in America. Evidence of voter fraud in this election is massive. The evidence is there for those who wish to see. Was it enough to turn the election to Trump? Who knows? A very reasoned and principled request was made by Senators such as Ted Cruz (TX) and Josh Hawley (MO) to have a 10-day waiting period of examination simply to discover how deep the fraud had been perpetrated.

This was cast aside by the powers-that-be. No light of day will be shed. Those on the right, who believe with justification, that the election was fraudulent, are to lump it. Instead, they, and President Trump, are being blamed for the ruckus that occurred on Capitol Hill. Now there is an online petition to remove Ted Cruz from office and Josh Hawley has lost a book deal with Simon & Schuster. Our cultural leaders continue to beat the drums for their heads on a platter.

Is it time for the heartland of American states to go their own way? Would that be better than a civil war that certainly is brewing? What does the future hold? I don’t know for certain the answer to any of these questions. But you can bet on one thing. The communistic left (aka Democrats) are going to drive hard and fast to finish the job of socializing America and erasing what vestige remains of our liberty. There will be no more free elections.

Alex Newman: China Seeks to Run UN “Crime” Agency 0 (0)

Not content with its agents running about a third of United Nations agencies already, the Communist Party of China is now pushing one of its minions to lead the powerful UN “crime” agency as well. The bid comes amid surging influence for the mass-murdering dictatorship within the “global governance” system. But unlike during the Obama administration, this time, critics from Capitol Hill to the White House are paying attention — and speaking out.

Beijing’s move to install Andy Tsang-Wai-hung as chief of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) comes just after Communist Chinese agent Qu Dongyu secured the top spot at the massive UN Food and Agriculture Organization (UN FAO). Whistle blowers and diplomats accused the regime of using bribery and threats to secure enough votes from UN member governments to have Qu take over the influential post.

The effort to have Tsang run the UN “crime” agency also comes shortly after the Communist Chinese agent running Interpol, the self-styled global “law-enforcement” agency, was arrested by authorities in China. Among other charges, communist officials in Beijing publicly accused former Interpol boss Meng Hongwei of failing to obey Communist Party orders while running the France-based international organization.

Headquartered in Vienna with a biannual budget of around $700 million, the UNODC that Beijing has its eyes on claims to be a leader in the fight against crime, terrorism, and more. It is currently led by a former diplomat for the mass-murdering Soviet regime, Yury Fedotov, who regularly blasted the United States for obeying the U.S. Constitution by failing to enforce blatanly unconstitutional UN agreements. The brutal Iranian dictatorship, by contrast, was regularly praised and celebrated by Fedotov’s administration.

Tsang’s history suggests he will be just as bad — if not worse — than Fedotov when it comes to advancing globalism, whitewashing savage tyranny, and threatening national sovereignty across a broad range of policy areas. Among other roles, Tsang serves as deputy director of the regime’s “National Narcotics Control Commission.” The outfit has developed a global reputation for barbarism and horrifying human-rights violations, including beating and torturing prisoners and using them for slave labor, as documented by Human Rights Watch.

Before that, while serving as police chief, Tsang was instrumental in violently suppressing the peaceful “umbrella movement” protests in Hong Kong. As The New American reported at the time, authorities used tear gas and brute force to smash popular dissent against Beijing’s growing authoritarianism in the once-semi-autonomous city. Protesters sought expanded voting rights, less interference from Beijing, the preservation of a free press, and the safeguarding of basic individual liberties. Tsang and his minions responded with an iron fist and bloodshed.

Now, finally, after the Deep State helped the murderous Communist Chinese regime take control of about one third of all the UN’s so-called “specialized” agencies, officials in Washington, D.C., are starting to take notice. Indeed, within the upper echelons of the U.S. State Department, meetings and memos have been discussing the issue and seeking solutions to rein in Beijing’s growing role within the UN system.

In response to the latest candidate offered by Beijing to run a key UN agency and the broader context of Communist China’s ongoing takeover of the UN, officials within the Trump administration are working on a strategy to counter those moves. However, from public statements made by officials, it is clear that — at least in the bureaucracy — there is a fundamental misunderstanding about the nature of the problem.

“China’s concerted push has more to do with advancing its self-serving interests and authoritarian model than demonstrating genuine leadership consistent with the principles and fundamental freedoms enshrined in the U.N Charter,” an unnamed official was quoted as saying by Fox News. Of course, it is true that Beijing is interesting in advancing its authoritarian model. But the idea that the dictator-dominated UN is based on principles of freedom is beyond ludicrous.

In reality, the UN charter does not enshrine any freedoms, fundamental or otherwise. The official quoted in the media may have been referring to the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights. But even allowing for that possibility, the statement is absurd. Unlike the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence, which protect God-given rights that pre-exist government, the UN’s “human rights” instruments purport to endow people with revocable privileges that cannot be used against the UN and can be abolished at any time under virtually any pretext. In short, it is a giant fraud.

On Capitol Hill, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas has been a leader in speaking out about the effort to have Tsang run the UNODC, even urging the Trump administration to do something about it. “The UN has no business putting yet another Communist Party cutout in a leadership position, especially one with a direct history of advancing China’s abuses in Hong Kong,” Cruz was quoted as saying media reports. “The Trump administration should use its voice and vote to block this appointment.”

Senator Cruz, who has also spoken out against Beijing’s espionage and influence operations in the United States, blasted the penetration of the leadership of global outfits such as the UN. “The Chinese Communist Party has systematically pursued a policy of joining and exploiting international organizations to advance their agenda,” said Cruz, who serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. “The pattern is the same across issues as varied as the WTO, Internet governance, Interpol, and human rights bodies.”

A number of experts on China and international relations have also spoken out against Tsang’s candidacy. Author and analyst Gordon Chang, who wrote the book The Coming Collapse of China, said Tsang would be a “hideous” appointment in comments made to Fox News. “Any candidate proposed for a drug enforcement post by a one-party state behind some of the world’s most dangerous drug networks should be rejected out of hand,” he said, noting that Tsang has failed to stop Chinese fentanyl rings despite having virtually unlimited power and tools to do it.

The Communist regime ruling China, however, which has murdered more people than any government in human history, defended the nomination amid escalating global criticism. Tsang’s nomination, Beijing “Foreign Ministry” spokesman Geng Shuang said, shows “China’s concrete action in support of multilateralism and work of the UN.” He also vowed that the communist regime would “devote more efforts to fighting transnational organized crime and strengthening international counter-narcotic cooperation.”

Other UN agencies under China’s control include the UN International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which is pushing global taxes on air travel. Also run by a Communist Chinese agent is the UN Industrial Development Organization, a disgraced entity helping to build up hostile Third World regimes such as the murderous dictatorships in North Korea and Cuba with Western money and technology. Another key UN entity run by a Communist Chinese agent is the UN International Telecommunications Union (ITU), which is seeking global censorship and controls of the Internet. Also under Communist Chinese control is the powerful UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA). Beijing has agents serving as deputy leaders of multiple UN organizations as well, not to mention the IMF, the World Bank, and beyond.

In short, Beijing is set to play a starring role in what globalists call the “New World Order” — at least if the Deep State gets its way.

Foreign-policy wonks in and around Washington, D.C., are increasingly taking notice of Communist China’s rapidly increasing control over the architecture of global governance. The influential Heritage Foundation, for instance, recently released a report outlining the problem and recommending ways for the U.S. government to deal with it. Unfortunately, however, none of those solutions involve abandoning the increasingly totalitarian UN system that was designed from the start to become more and more oppressive and powerful. Without the United States, the whole ediface would collapse.

The decision on who will lead the UNODC will be made by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, former leader of the Socialist International, sometime in the coming months. Considering Guterres’ personal involvement in the spread of socialist and communist totalitarianism around the world and throughout the UN system, it remains unclear whether he will resist Beijing’s demands for ever more power and control over global policy.

The Trump administration has withdrawn from a broad range of UN agencies and agreements, ranging from a UN deal promoting mass-migration to the UN’s “education” agency. The American Sovereignty Restoration Act (H.R. 204), however, would go further, ending all U.S. government involvement and funding for the “dictators club” that is the UN. With Communist China openly taking the reins at the globalist outfit, critics of the UN say it is past time for American taxpayers to stop subsidizing it all.

Bill Lockwood: Hillary Clinton Proves that Incivility is in the Left’s DNA 0 (0)

Hillary Clinton is trying to get ahead of the frenzied riotous forces that she helped unleash, voicing that “civil discourse” cannot be—as long as the left is out of power. Being interviewed by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, Clinton stated: “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for.”

Clinton added, “That’s what I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or Senate, that’s when civility starts again. But until then, the only thing Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.”

As Rick Moran comments in PJMedia.com, “The most prominent Democrat in the country has, for all intents and purposes, just given a green light to every left-wing kook and violent sociopath to be uncivil to Republicans.”

Besides the fact that the eruptive and unrestrained mobs ransacked the nation’s capital as the Kavanaugh hearings were underway; and prominent conservatives such as Senator Ted Cruz have been chased out of restaurants by tumultuous crowds; and paid screamers recently burst on the Capitol; and one Congressman, Steve Scalise has already been shot in an attempted assassination that was specifically fueled by leftist rhetoric—Hillary Clinton waves for more ungovernable mob action. Why? This is the Left’s DNA.

Observations from a Cattleman

J. Evetts Haley (1901-1995) was a famed Texas historian, rancher and conservative politician who is best known for his biography on Texas cattleman Charles Goodnight of the Palo Duro country. He taught at UT from 1929 to 1936. But these were the days of the rising tide of “progressivism”, specifically FDR’s New Deal, which Haley rightly saw as socialism. His voiced opposition brought about his dismissal. “I was fired because of my vigorous fight against the invasion of socialistic federal power.”

It is this socialistic federal power which is the topic of his 1964 book, A Texan Looks at Lyndon: A Study in Illegitimate Power. His assessments and incisive logic regarding the growth of unconstitutional government cannot be matched. Represented by the Clinton’s nasty power-machine, Haley’s warnings are coming to pass.

Haley exposes two factors that encourage Illegitimate Government in the following. One of them is deceit of the politicians; the other is a compliant and partisan press. As if writing about the Obama-era corrupted Administration, including the FBI and DOJ, Haley says,

When deceit and duplicity become accepted government policy, no sage is wise enough to anticipate the ultimate and possibly violent end. Inherently this means the abrogation of the God-given right of free speech, the perversion and hence destruction of the freedom of the press, and the denial of that indispensable ingredient of all legitimate governments, the consent of the governed.

Although speaking of the Dwight Eisenhower through Lyndon Johnson periods, Haley’s observations regarding the media are classic.

After steady if not studied attrition of these rights and principles through many years, through preferential treatment of some, and coercion and blackmail of others, vast portions of the news media in America have been reduced to sycophantic if not criminal confederates of the Establishment or the man in power. This was no less obvious in the successful buildup of a politically inexperienced army man by politicians and press to the stature of a hero worthy to be President, than in the instant, repulsive reversal of position toward Lyndon B. Johnson when adverse fate elevated him to the presidency.

Continuing in this vein regarding the complicit media complex in America, Haley writes,

One wonders if these prostitutes of the media are simply so deluded by their own inflated sense of important position and power as really to believe what they say, or whether they are so devoid of character as to slant and distort the truth for personal expediency, or whether they, like the late utterly cynical Harry Hopkins, simply believe the people are just “too ____ dumb to understand.”

With disunity in America at an all-time high, and unbridled “incivility” encouraged, violence that has already been erupting amongst the Lefties may continue to explode. Haley points out that this will only beget more violence from the right.

The existence of such a phenomenon in such an area of vital interest and concern, with its eventual effects upon the morals of the people and the national character and unity, is staggering in its potential effect. Its surface influence is reflected in the idiom of the street, in the repeated and pervasive comment that ‘you can’t believe a thing you read in the papers!’ Nor can this sweeping indictment of a once vaunted ‘free and independent’ press be swept aside as popular caprice or a momentary passion.

It is something of far deeper and more somber significance. It is a combination of the long frustrations of the little but honest people who want and seek truth, of resentment of propaganda and designed deception by those in power, of a sense of betrayal in past deed and action by those of influence and authority! More than that it is cumulative in force and effect. It is impervious to pious platitudes in political forum, press or pulpit. As new ugly revelations continue to explode across the political landscape indicating the abject corruption of the Obama presidency, whose administration was also illegally assisting via the FBI the much-anticipated Hillary Clinton presidency, we might suppose that J. Evetts Haley was a prophet. But deceit and corruption are simply a part of the Left’s DNA.

When men are once convinced that they are consistently being denied the truth essential to their survival, imagination alone is left with which to anticipate tomorrow, upon which to predicate their future. Even at its most adverse, an honest and healthy people with national unity solidly based on spiritual faith and morality can face and live with reality. With venality on the prowl, and corruption widely condoned if not an actual part of government policy, public apprehension feeds on imaginative fears, and the specter of the gods of wrath and violence hang over such unfortunate and uneasy lands.

Haley, the “Salty Texas Rebel” from the Staked Plains, is right on the mark. We, the honest little people, perhaps not understanding the depths of the Left’s depravity, or the twisted conniving of the Obama Administration, at least have enough common sense to smell a rat. This is why we threw out the politicians and hired Donald J. Trump—To Make America Great Again.

Make no mistake about it. We are at war. We do not want it, but it is forced upon freedom-lovers in America. The assault is led by the Democrat Party which despises liberty under law. Though there is not the force of military tactics running the streets–thuggery, riotous behavior, and “popular revolts” are becoming common scenes—even in the Senate Chambers where Judge Brett Kavanaugh is under diabolical attack.

When people disobey the laws with which they disagree they break the foundations of all law. If this atrocity was being committed by a few lawless gangs of harmless onlookers, that would be one thing. This charge is being led by leaders of the Democrat Party itself, such as Maxine Waters, who regularly encourages flocks of rabble-rousers to jostle conservative members of Congress as well as Trump Administration officials in public places. Flouting defiance instead of working through the established Constitutional system is the modus operandi of all communists.

Former President Obama routinely excused and encouraged black hordes to roam the streets of Baltimore and Ferguson, Missouri. They need to “express their displeasure”, was the Left’s excuse. Bands of students motivated by socialist and communist-professors created havoc from California to Oregon destroying private property. Smashing windows and burning cars has become a common scene.

Regarding the lawless immigration which has encouraged up to 20 million illegal aliens into our country, once more the Democrat Party mobilizes masses to “protest” incarceration and “separation of families” at the border. Again, preferring mob action carrying placards rather than operating through the established system of law-makers, Democrats and socialists join hands in an effort to increase the Hispanic population.

It makes no difference to Democrats that lawlessness increases exponentially with uncontrolled immigration or that American citizens may live in fear of being victimized–as long as more Democratic voters can come into our nation. So is apparently the position of “Beto” O’Rourke, the Democrat running against constitutionalist Ted Cruz. To O’Rourke, 20 million illegals being supported by the American Taxpayer is evidence of “Jim Crow.” Shocking it is that any self-respecting person supports O’Rourke, who himself is sponsored by communist George Soros.

Consider the Democrats and President Trump. There is not one single law that President Trump has sought to enforce on immigration that has not already been passed by Congress and has the force of settled law. Trump is constitutionally mandated to enforce existing law. Yet, with Democrat encouragement, mobs rule the country even protesting the Immigration and Customs Enforcement! Exactly the same mob-mentality as nations that have already succumbed to communism. Beto O’Rourke even has openly considered getting rid of ICE. So much for the border.

Most of the pernicious doctrines of communism were formulated by a lazy, egotistical, repulsive atheist, Karl Marx, who busied himself cooking up criminal plots in order that the rabble might overthrow governments while his own family suffered in wanton squalor and poverty. His own personal hypocrisy knew no bounds.

More than coincidence it is that leading Democrats of today have taken on the same appearance. And it is no mere coincidence either that prominent Democrats now openly champion socialism—a communistic system that simply lacks the razor-sharp teeth of forced compliance. As Gus Hall, once leader of the Communist Party in America, admitted years ago, they had at that time only 10,000 official members, but they had “ten times that many in ‘state-of-mind’ members.” A “state-of-mind” partisan of communism. Such is the Democrat Party today.

Soros-Funded “Beto” O’Rourke Wrong for Texas; Wrong for America–“Beto O’Rourke’s cumulative score on the “Freedom Index” of The New American is a pitiful 27%.

It ought to be a fair warning to Texans that Robert “Beto” O’Rourke is heavily financed by communist agitator George Soros. But a glance at his ultra-liberal voting record while serving in the U.S. House of Representatives from El Paso seals the deal against him with those who have any respect left for what remains of the United States Constitution, and who value freedom from a Leviathan-Government.

Beto O’Rourke’s cumulative score on the “Freedom Index” of The New American is a pitiful 27%. There is not a big government program that O’Rourke does not like, nor a diminishing of liberty for citizens that he does not favor.

Health Care

He voted against the bill (December, 2017) known as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that would cut corporate income tax rates from 35 percent to 21 percent, cut individual tax-rates through 2025, and eliminate the tax penalty on Americans who do not purchase health insurance. This last was the cornerstone of the ObamaCare 2010 legislation.

On his website O’Rourke stumps for socialized medicine, using all the left’s fabricated lies to push voters in that direction. “It means,” says Beto, “that every one of us is able to get healthy and stay healthy. It means we have access to the providers, medications and help that keep us on our feet and moving forward.” This is achieved perhaps “through a single payer system, a dual system, or otherwise…”

As Beto knows, the issue has never been about “access to providers” of healthcare coverage—even though this was the patented lie of Obama. The trouble is not access but who is paying for it?  Our Emergency Rooms have been filled for over 30 years will illegals and others who have been funded by the taxpayers. Again, access is not the issue. What is at stake is a federal government program that robs one sector of society (the producers) to pay for others (the takers).

“Healthcare is a basic human right, not a privilege,” says his website. Wrong. Healthcare is a service provided by those who have invested much personal time and money into their profession. O’Rourke thinks that by calling it his “right” that these professionals serve him he has created the “right” that that somehow mandates that I must pay for his services. No wonder Soros loves him. Liberals always miss the basic issue as to what a “right” is.

Immigration

Politifact says that it is “mostly true” that Beto O’Rourke wishes to disband ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) as accused by Ted Cruz. According to a Texas Tribune news story (July 2, 2018), at a town hall in San Antonio, O’Rourke was asked about “abolishing ICE.” Politifact writes,

O’Rourke discussed the need to eliminate fear in immigrant communities under Trump and to find a better way to enforce immigration laws. ‘And if that involves doing away with this agency, giving that responsibility to somebody else, changing how this agency performs, I’m open to doing that,’ O’Rourke said.

Yet he went on to flatly answer no when directly asked if he would abolish ICE, explaining that he does not currently know enough about how immigration law would be enforced without the agency.

‘I understand the urgency of this,’ O’Rourke said in conclusion. ‘I just want to make sure that we’re constructive in how we talk about meeting this challenge and that I understand what abolishing ICE would mean in terms of enforcing our laws going forward.’

Stop here a moment. Universal health care in Texas—socialized medicine paid for by taxpayers. No border enforcement, which means open borders. That is a simple recipe to say good-bye to the Lone Star State. Let’s just turn it over to Mexico, as is already being called for by some liberal groups. Perhaps Robert needs to be nicknamed “Reconquista” O’Rourke.

Other Issues

On Abortion, O’Rourke has proved consistent—consistently immoral. He has voted to fund the murder of the unborn with federal taxpayer-supplied funds; when a bill came before him to deny federal subsidies in ObamaCare from funding abortion, he voted NO; when the issue was to limit abortions, he was against that limitation; he refused to defund Planned Parenthood even for one year unless Congress could certify that that “healthcare provider” did not perform abortions. His website claims he wants a “chance for everyone to succeed”—unless, of course, you are a person awaiting birth from inside your mother’s womb.

Beto voted for raising the spending cap during Obama’s presidency; he is pro Common Core; and voted against the Death Tax Repeal which would have put to rest an ungodly law Robin Hood-style system of robbery. He is weak on the 2d Amendment as he promises to “close the gun show loophole.”

Another issue of keen interest to liberty-minded Texans is Beto’s support of the EPA’s “Waters of the United States” rule. As described by one writer, this bill (H.R. 2, May, 2018) was the “poster child of government overreach during the Obama administration” as it gives “unelected bureaucrats at the EPA the power to broadly interpret what is a navigable waterway” under the Clean Water Act. The practice of the EPA was to interpret the rule “so broadly” that “even a puddle in a farm’s drainage ditch could be subjected to Federal regulation.”

This is exactly the kind of kingship government that Beto prefers—an unconstitutional socialistic-style system that lawlessly regulates each patch of dirt in the great state of Texas. Beto is wrong for Texas; he is wrong for America.

Internet Giveaway: Obama’s War Against Freedom of Speech-“Hate,” like beauty, is the eye of the beholder. “

The danger is real. The threat is imminent. Under Barack Obama’s direction the United States is set to give up control of the internet to a world body controlled by other socialists such as himself. Obama’s Marxism is not the armchair sort where he simply cogitates about philosophies of life while puffing on a pipe. “Street-organizing” is called such for a reason.

As these lines are being composed Barack Obama, as has become his modus operandi, via the back door, is seeking to curtail freedom of speech. His proposal is to end the U.S. government’s oversight of the internet domain name system by turning it over to a world body called ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) composed of 162 nations. These nations, composed of dictatorships of the communist or Islamic brands, such as China or Iran, will certainly curtail the precious freedoms long-cherished by Americans.

The Left argues that this “danger” outlined above is overblown. No entity would ever “censor” the internet, we are assured by the globalists. As Senator Ted Cruz observed on the floor of Congress recently, “A representative of Iran is already on record stating, ‘we should not take it [for] granted that jurisdiction is already agreed to be totally based on U.S. law.’” Unbelievable. More unbelievable is the fact that this does not cause Barack Obama to even pause in his internet giveaway. He pushes it onto the fast track.

Further, as Cruz pointed out to the Senate, leading technology companies in the United States have already agreed with the European Union to remove ‘hate speech’ from their online platforms. Giant U.S. companies  are currently in the process of “censoring speech” that is deemed unacceptable. “Hate,” like beauty, is the eye of the beholder. Those who have Twitter or Facebook accounts know that this is already occurring.

Freedom of Speech

America has had a long history of cherishing the precious freedom of speech, the free flow and exchange of ideas. Our framers of government fought long and hard that they and we might enjoy this God-given freedom, which had been stifled throughout the governments of history.

Probably the most significant figure of the Founding period in America is Thomas Jefferson. As were all of those remarkable statesmen called Founding Fathers, Jefferson was a fierce lover of freedom. At his First Inaugural Address (1801) the Sage of Monticello admonished future generations, in memorable phraseology, to carefully guard the Freedom of Speech.

“The diffusion of information and arraignment of all abuses at the bar of the public reason; freedom of religion; freedom of the press, and freedom of person under the protection of the habeas corpus, and trial by juries impartially selected. These principles form the bright constellation which has gone before us and guided our steps through an age of revolution and reformation.”

“The wisdom of our sages and blood of our heroes have been devoted to their attainment. They should be the creed of our political faith, the text of civic instruction, the touchstone by which to try the services of those we trust; and should we wander from them in moments of error or of alarm, let us hasten to retrace our steps and to regain the road which alone leads to peace, liberty, and safety.”

Elsewhere Jefferson rightly connected the freedom of speech with religion. “…Insomuch that whatever violates either throws down the sanctuary which covers the others” (Kentucky Resolutions, 1798).

Benjamin Franklin warned: “Freedom of speech is a principal pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved, and tyranny is erected on its ruins. Republics and limited monarchies derive their strength and vigor from a popular examination into the action of the magistrates.”

Is it the case that this ‘principal pillar of free government’ is near evaporation? Will tyranny indeed be erected on its ruins? Marxist Obama does not cherish this freedom; the liberal establishment does not desire a free flow of ideas. Placing the forum of the internet into globalist hands assures us that tyranny is in the offing.

Black Lives Matter and “Dream Defenders” are Communist Red

Black Lives Matter activists are taking credit for shutting down a Donald Trump Chicago rally on Friday. The planned rally at the University of Illinois in Chicago quickly escalated into general chaos as street protestors clashed with Trump supporters. While candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio each blamed Donald Trump for creating a “culture of violence” surrounding his campaign due to some of the comments that Trump has made. The real truth that underlies the whole – is that this is exactly the type of racial and class division that has been seven years in the making by the Obama Administration. Reality is much deeper than what Cruz or Rubio have portrayed.
The late Larry Grathwohl, and FBI informant who penetrated the communist Weather Underground of Bill Ayers, warned that under an Obama Administration racial division would be heightened, not lessened. It is no coincidence that Ayers, a communist street-organizer and primary confederate of Barack Obama, showed up at the Chicago protests to assist his fellow-travelers of the Black Lives Matter movement. What America is now witnessing is the collusion of various brands of hard-core red communism. Let’s look at the back-drop.
Freedom Road Socialist Organization and Dream Defenders
The “Black Lives Matter” (BLM) hashtag as well as the “Hands Up—Don’t Shoot” slogan were created in 2013 by members of the communist-inspired Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO) following the Treyvon Martin killing in Florida. Specifically, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Temiti accepted credit for coalescing the racial unrest by advancing the BLM on social media. These all work beneath the umbrella of the FRSO. The FRSO is “hereditary descendent” of the New Communist Movement (reported by Accuracy in Media) and is a broad-based coalition of red-inspired groups.
Garza claims to be a “queer”; Cullors says she is of the “working class, a queer, black woman” who was trained by the Weather Underground to foment street thuggery. Temiti is the daughter of an illegal immigrant from Nigeria who at one time worked for the ACLU against “vigilantes” who oppose illegal immigration. She is the executive director of “Black Alliance for Just Immigration” (BAJI).
Exploiting the natural fissures of racial differences in society, the FRSO has been assisted by another organization spearheaded by radical black activist Nelini Stamp. Stamp’s organization is entitled “Dream Defenders” (DD). According to Accuracy in Media these organizations, which are American versions of Chairman Mao’s communist red movements, receive large sums of money from such unions as the Service Employee International Union (SEIU), the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). The SEIU is the same labor union that has teamed-up with President Obama.

Nelini Stamp

Nelini Stamp of “Dream Defenders” makes it clear that the real goal for America is to “change the capitalist system” by the overthrowing of society and replacing it with a hard-core communistic one. The method used for this is to exploit the racial divide and to drive wedges into the already-existing racial fissures that make up the United States. The real enemy is THE SYSTEM.
If there is any doubt about the tie of the minority-dominated Dream Defenders to communism, simply examine the Board of Dream Defenders. Angela Davis heads the list. Davis is an experienced proud communist-activist who led lawlessness in America in decades past and received various communist awards for her efforts.
Dream Defenders displays itself as a “revolutionary organization” bent on “rebellion.” Boasting of various “squads” such as the “Brown Berets,” the “Sandinistas,” the “Zapatistas,” the “Popular Front of the Liberation of Palestine,” and the hate-filled violent “Black Panther Party,” Dream Defenders is staging to destroy America.
Dream Defenders’ “Vision” page declares, “We believe that our liberation necessitates the destruction of the political and economic systems of Capitalism and Imperialism…” They demand the “immediate release” of the 2.5 million prisoners of “the United States’ War on the Poor” (presumably the minority prison population, bl) as well “community control of land, bread, housing, education, justice, peace and technology.” To gain these goals DD claims “we will organize” rebellion to win.
Specializing in ungodly lawlessness, violence and civil unrest, the axis of the above-mentioned organizations have found fertile ground in Obama’s America. For, he was forged in the same mold and was groomed for the Oval Office on the same Chicago streets that exploded on Friday night last. America will witness an increasing amount of communist-style strategic and street warfare in the coming months, and it has little to do with a Donald Trump body-guard pushing down a reporter or the candidate himself talking about “punching” someone in the face!

Republican Meltdown

Numerous pundits and politicians are warning of a Republican dismemberment over the seeming nomination of Donald Trump. A huge split in the GOP and a possible resulting loss to the Socialist lawbreaking Hillary Clinton is the making, we are told. Media outlets, including FOX News, have trumpeted Marco Rubio’s favorability over Ted Cruz and the more liberal commentators have promised to leave the country if Trump is elected. The Republican Establishment is in meltdown mode while Donald Trump is made the scapegoat for the predicted disaster.

Blaming Trump for Republican woes is backwards. Common-sense conservatives have been crying for a constitutionally-directed change for as long as one can remember, but “The Establishment” has ruled the Republican Party with an iron fist, presenting softer, more moderate versions of the Democratic nominee.

Principled conservatives supported candidates such as Alan Keyes in 1996 and 2000, but were denied. The GOP kingmakers dished up the milquetoast neo-con Bob Dole as the option to leftist Bill Clinton. Candidates such as Mike Huckabee and Tom Tancredo were marginalized as being too conservative for the country. Republican wisdom placed liberal Republican John McCain on the ballot as “one who could win.” Once more, conservatives reluctantly played along.  Others lost heart and sat at home while the Democrats hammered home another win.

Republican voters were assured that moderate Mitt Romney would set up a big enough tent so that the GOP could re-take the White House. Conventional wisdom dictated that Michele Bachmann, Ron Paul, and Rick Perry were too narrow in their constitutional views. The conservative Americans were deceived and disappointed—once more.

After Barack Obama took the White House in 2008 and turned it into a communist/socialist haven of Community Organizing complete with the first step toward socialized medicine, the entire country revolted by giving the entire Congress to Republican control. It seemed to many voters that this was the one last effort to STOP the Imperial Presidency.

But RINO Republicans never intended to stop Obama. With blatant deceitful disregard for the American worker and voter—the one who pays for all of the free meals in our welfare system–instead of stopping Obama the RINO’s handed the president almost everything he has demanded, included over a $1.1 Trillion budget last fall to finish his dictatorship.

Now, the American people are mad and absolutely sick of the spaghetti-spined Republican Establishment. GOP Insiders have no one to blame but themselves. They have force-fed the American people marsh-mellow personalities and watered-down versions of Democrats while the people have just had to hold their noses to vote for one Neo-Con after another.

And now, in the throes of losing their grip on the Republican Party, the Insiders are threatening to tear it all up because they cannot stand Donald Trump. Well, let them hold their noses and get along—for the good of the unity of the Party.

I support Ted Cruz, by the way.
