Alex Newman: School Children Terrorized About Death from “Climate Change” 0 (0)

by Alex Newman

MADRID — Inmates at government schools in Canada and beyond are being absolutely terrorized with “climate” alarmism, to the point that some of them were convinced that they will die in just 8 years unless the United Nations is given more power and money. Scientists have compared the tactics and hysteria to those used by cults and dictators.

The poor children were absolutely terrified. “We are gonna die! I don’t want to die!” screamed one little child during a propaganda session on “climate” forced on 2nd and 3rd graders at a public school in Toronto. A concerned parent who reached out to FreedomProject Media about the scandal, Lejla Blazevik, said her 8-year-old daughter told her the rest of the class had joined in, too.

Her own daughter, Joylaea Blazevic, got home from school after the indoctrination and recounted what happened at school that day: “She’s like: ‘Mommy, they said that we’re going to die in eight years.’” Even believers in the man-made global-warming hypothesis, including child psychologists, told media outlets reporting on the traumatic incident that it was “inappropriate.”

Among other things, the video featured Swedish girl Greta Thunberg scolding adults. The video included the now-infamous remarks: “People are suffering. People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairytales of eternal economic growth. How dare you!” After that, a clock counting down 8 years was shown to the students, causing panic.

Ms. Blazevic vowed not to give up in this fight. “Again, my concern is for the 7- and 8-year-old children in this grade 2nd and 3rd class who may still believe that they’re going to die,” the mother told The Newman Report in an email before the story became an international scandal following an article in Canada’s National Post. “Also, the parents of these children need to be notified.”

School officials have issued contradictory responses to the scandal, ranging from denying and downplaying it, to apologizing and claiming it was for the children’s own good. On several occasions, according to emails obtained by The Newman Report, administrators claimed that it was just one student who yelled about dying. School officials also later claimed that the student in question had a habit of shouting that.

But not according to Ms. Blazevik, who wondered which of the contradictory statements by school officials were lies. “It was most of the children in the class who exclaimed ‘I don’t wanna die’ and not only one child,” she told The Newman Report. Indeed, the concerned mother spoke to a 7-year-old girl from her daughter’s class in front of that girl’s father, “and she said that she was happy that she’s going to die soon because that meant that she didn’t need to get married,” Blazevic recounted.

School officials also later claimed that students were “debriefed” and that the “nerves” of the children were “likely calmed” by re-assurances that they would not die from supposed man-made warming in 8 years. “My daughter is the best student in class, she attends school regularly and she is sure that the class was never corrected, not even on that day, during the presentation,” Blazevic said, expressing concerns that government-school employees were misleading parents and students.

School officials claimed the purpose of the propaganda video was actually to help the children to “resolve” the supposed problem of man-made climate doom. “Once again, we regret the impact the video and clock had on Joylea,” Prinipal Michael George told Blazevic in an e-mail obtained by FreedomProject Media. “Our intent is always to create critical thinkers & problem solvers with a perspective of contributing to the well-being of our global community.”

Meanwhile, in Germany, outraged citizens protested after the state-broadcaster showed video footage of young school children being taught to sing that their grandmothers are “pigs” for eating meat and driving gasoline-powered cars. “Every day my grandma fries herself a pork chop,” the seemingly happy children sing. “She does it because discount meat costs nearly nothing, my grandma is an old environmental pig!”

All over the United Nations COP25 “climate” summit in Madrid in December, meanwhile, brainwashed children ran around screaming about the alleged need to dismantle free markets, patriarchy, the economy, Western civilization, and more. They also demanded that the UN loot Western taxpayers, ban airplanes and “fossil fuels,” restrict meat consumption, and much more.

Leading scientists in Madrid, such as Princeton physicist and Trump advisor Dr. William Happer, warned that this was the behavior of a dangerous “cult.” “I hope sooner or later enough people recognize the phoniness of this bizarre environmental cult and bring it to an end,” said Happer, who added that the UN and governments were “wasting our time talking about a non-existent climate emergency.”

Clearly, though, the children are being prepared for something big. Former Vice President and discredited “climate” guru Al Gore, for instance, was quoted in the UN’s propaganda book “Rescue Mission Planet Earth: A Children’s Edition of Agenda 21” calling for a “worldwide monitoring system staffed by children … designed to rescue the global environment.”

THE TAKEAWAY

The mass-murdering totalitarian regimes of the 20th century such as those of National Socialist (Nazi) Adolf Hitler and Chinese Communist butcher Mao Tse-Tung relied on remarkably similar tactics to those now being deployed against Western children. With a combination of fear-mongering, indoctrination, and propaganda, these savage regimes drove a wedge between parents and their children, turning the children against their families to facilitate the destruction of liberty.

The results were deadly and catastrophic. Indeed, those tyrants collectively slaughtered hundreds of millions of people and enslaved billions more. It is time for parents to step in and put a stop to it — now — before it gets too far out of hand.

Alex Newman: Democrats Propose Keeping Kids at School Until 6pm 0 (0)

by Alex Newman

Parents should be able to hand the government even more responsibility for raising their children, Democrat U.S. Senator Kamala Harris of California believes. To help make that a reality, she introduced an unconstitutional bill that would keep school doors open until 6 PM or later, as well as during the summer months.

Dubbed the “Family Friendly Schools Act,” Harris’ bill would help further obliterate the family, replacing parents with government school officials for almost the entire life of a child. Under the plan, American taxpayers would be forced to provide even more tax money to government “education” so that parents could spend even less time with their children.

If approved, the legislation would start by bribing 500 government schools across America into creating “activities” for children from 8 AM or before until 6 PM or later. The schools, part of a pilot program, would be required to provide “high-quality, culturally relevant, linguistically accessible, developmentally appropriate academic, athletic, or enrichment opportunities” during that time.

That means millions of children would be eating three government-provided meals per day at their government schools, further cementing the government’s role as provider in the child’s mind. Next up: Bed-time stories and goodnight hugs for children from government bureaucrats, so that parents do not have to worry about those parental duties, either.

The Orwellian scheme would also plow over $1 billion — to start with — into creating “21st Century Community Learning Centers” at public schools across America. These institutions would subject some 2 million American children to what Harris’ press release described as “summer programming,” thereby eliminating summer vacation.

While parents typically spend an hour or two with their children on an average day, government has them captive for about eight hours per day, five days a week, for at least 14 years. In total, children who start school in Kindergarten will spend over 20,000 waking hours in government care, compared to around one fourth that much time with their parents.

Harris pointed to her mother working “long hours” as a reason why America needs children to be in government schools for more hours. Apparently “juggling” school schedules and work is a “common cause of stress and financial hardship,” said Harris, who is descended from slave owners and whose own father has lambasted her disgusting “identity politics.”

“But, this does not have to be the case,” Harris continued, because apparently Uncle Sam is going to make it all better by taking even more money from people to somehow help them deal with their “financial hardship.” Proving that she would destroy a proper understanding of justice if elected in her long-shot bid for the presidency, Harris added: “Justice for students and working families is on the ballot.”

Of course, totalitarians have long believed that government ought to play a much larger role in the raising of children. Indeed, Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Castro, and countless other socialist and communist tyrants throughout the 20th century sought to usurp the role of parents in raising the next generation, always with horrific results.

In America, Big Government mongers have similar dreams. Obama’s Education Secretary Arne Duncan, for instance, openly called for government boarding schools that would have some children 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Hillary Clinton argued two decades ago that it takes a (government) “village” to raise a child. And the Obama administration released a policy document seeking home visits that referred to parents as “equal partners” in the raising of children.

THE TAKEAWAY

As American children get dumber and dumber — not to mention more immoral — with each passing year in public school, it is incredible that somebody could seriously propose increasing  the amount of time spent there. What U.S. children need is more time with their parents and less time as inmates in the government’s indoctrination centers. Harris should be ashamed of herself.

Alex Newman: American Officials Celebrate Slavery and Mass Murder in China 0 (0)

by Alex Newman
The Christian flag is forbidden. But this past week city and state officials in Boston and Philadelphia celebrated the enslavement of China 70 years ago — and the slaughter of an estimated 100-plus million people since then — by holding a flag raising ceremony for the Communist Chinese regime at City Hall. Cities in Canada and Australia also bowed down to the regime. And President Donald Trump even sent “congratulations” to the Chinese dictator on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, drawing sharp criticism from Republicans in Congress.

The events and statements honoring the mass-murdering regime took place even as the dictatorship in Beijing was brutalizing and killing protesters in Hong Kong. Those protesters, who are seeking to preserve their freedom, have been waving U.S. flags and singing the American national anthem as U.S. officials were cheering on their oppressors. Protesters from both China and America, though, were on hand to make their opposition to the groveling known.

Communist Chinese propaganda organs were thrilled by the events. Xinhua, a Communist Party of China-controlled “news” organization that doubles as an intelligence gathering outfit, celebrated the fact that Philadelphia “honored” China by hoisting its flag at city hall. “A flag-raising ceremony was held Tuesday morning at the city hall to observe the 70th anniversary of the PRC founding,” Xinhua reported, boasting that the mayor had announced “a day to observe ‘The People’s Republic of China Flag-raising Day.'”

Mayor James Kenney also provided some nice soundbites for the regime’s propaganda machine. In a proclamation celebrating the murderous regime’s 70th birthday on October 1, the mayor said his city had been “enriched with many key cultural events and business centers.” He also boasted that people of Chinese heritage — all of whom the regime considers either assets or enemies, according to intelligence experts ” were now active in “all aspects of life including in City administration.”

In Boston, a similar ceremony took place on September 29, and has been occurring for a decade now. Among those speaking at the deeply controversial event was Boston City Councilor Edward Flynn, the son of former Mayor Ray Flynn who also served as U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican. The politician, who did not return requests for comment, said he was “proud” to be there with his “friends” at the Communist Chinese Party front group behind the event. Also attending was State Senator Joe Boncore, a Democrat from Winthrop.

But the public was less enthusiastic about celebrating mass murder and genocide. As the flag was being raised, activists used loudspeakers playing music used by protesters in Hong Kong to drown out the regime’s anthem. Chants of “Free Tibet, Free the Uyghur People, Free Hong Kong, and Shame on China,” could be heard louder than the speakers. Among the hundreds of demonstrators in attendance were ethnic Chinese people from Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as Tibetans, Falun Gong practitioners, and others.

One of the protest leaders, Tibet Action Institute Director Lhadon Tethong, spoke out clearly. “The flag-raising here is a real honor, a privilege to be at Boston City Hall, this place where the American Independence was founded,” he explained. “That [Communist Chinese] flag stands for none of the values that this country was founded on.”

Numerous anti-Communist, pro-freedom Americans attended too. Camp Constitution Executive Director Hal Shurtleff, who helped lead the opposition, noted that he was very impressed with the Hong Kong students in attendance at the protests. “They were well organized, young and brave,” said Shurtleff. “One young man whom I spoke with admitted that he will suffer consequences for protesting the event.”

Shurtleff, who has been protesting the Communist Chinese flag festivities for years and sought unsuccessfully to have the Christian flag raised there too, brought a banner featuring the Christian flag reading “Banned in Boston.” He also brought a banner on persecuted Christians with information about Beijing’s brutality toward the believers in China. “We got the banner right in the faces of the communists,” he said, adding that his video of the event went viral and was seen by over 70,000 people in less than one day.

In previous years, Shurtleff distributed copies of Robert Welch’s book Again May God Forgive Us, which outlines the U.S. government betrayal of China into communist slavery. This year, he was “delighted” to see that protesters outnumbered communist supporters. “While there was at least one brief skirmish with an elderly anti-Communist Chinese man and a supporter of Communist China, and angry verbal exchanges, the protest was peaceful,” he said. “We noticed the arrogance displayed by the organizers. One of them walked by the barricades smiling at the protesters.”

Indeed, mouthpieces for the regime insisted that raising Communist China’s flag was entirely appropriate. “We need to learn from each other and understand each other better to promote a more peaceful world,” claimed Suzanne Lee, the founder and president emeritus of the city’s Chinese Progressive Association that worked with the city to bring the ceremony about. “But I think it”s important to keep that information going, rather than hitting head to head. Nothing can come of it when people don”t talk to each other.”

The Communist Chinese flag raising has been going on for a decade in Boston. In 2009, an official City Council resolution by Councilor Michael Ross and signed by the president of the city council extended its congratulations to the “People’s Republic of China” for the 60th anniversary of its founding. Apparently Boston even forged a “sister-city relationship” with Hangzhou, a city with an international reputation for communist barbarism and ruthless persecution of Christians. The city is also notorious for its organ-harvesting operations centered around the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital.

Perhaps even more controversial than city and state officials celebrating the enslavement of the most populous nation on earth was President Trump’s message to mass murderer Xi, the regime’s supreme overlord. “Congratulations to President Xi and the Chinese people on the 70th Anniversary of the People”s Republic of China!” the president tweeted on October 1, using the term “president” to describe the dictator.

Responding to Trump’s tweet, even some establishment Republican leaders were clearly uncomfortable. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), for instance, slammed the regime. “From the modern gulags used to incarcerate Xinjiang’s Uighurs, to the high-tech firewalls and censorship that control the flow of information, to the state’s extensive technical surveillance, to all of the Communist Party’s other tools of social and political control, Xi Jinping’s China looks disturbingly like a modern version of Maoist China,” he said in response to Trump’s comments.

Leaders among House Republicans, meanwhile, said the 70th anniversary was “not a day for celebration.” Rather, House GOP Conference leaders said, “it is an opportunity to remember the victims, past and present, of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).” Since coming to power, they added, the regime has deprived its victims of fundamental human rights and human dignity. From the tens of millions starved to death, to the students mowed down in Tiananmen Square, to the Uighurs stuck in concentration camps, to the courageous people of Hong Kong, Beijing’s “appalling record of repression is clear,” the leaders said.

“On the anniversary of the PRC, the U.S. stands with the foremost victims of the Chinese Communist Party: Chinese citizens themselves,” said the two Republican leaders. “It is for their future, as well as that of their fellow victims in Xinjiang, in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and beyond, that we rededicate ourselves to ensuring that the Chinese Communist Party is left on the ash heap of history.” The GOP leaders in the House noted that the CCP is waging a campaign of aggression worldwide and that its victims within China are “subject to a nightmarish totalitarian dystopia with the PRC”s ever-expanding surveillance state and social credit system.”

The groveling before the most murderous regime in history was hardly limited to the United States. In Canada, various city governments also celebrated the regime’s enslavement of the vast Chinese nation. However, in Toronto, at least, the mayor very publicly refused to participate, citing “ongoing issues between Canada and China.” Protesters at the event, meanwhile, held signs with pictures of Canadians being detained in horrifying conditions as retaliation for the Canadian government’s role in arresting a leading Huawei executive for U.S. authorities.

In Australia, the Victoria Police disgraced themselves by raising the Communist Chinese flag at the station’s flagpole. Even more horrifying, the officers were forced to sing the murderous regime’s anthem as local and federal officials looked on. But again, there was outrage and criticism.

“Frankly I find it disappointing,” Victoria City Councilor Blair Barker told Australian media after the event, pointing to the brutality being unleashed against protesters in Hong Kong. “We need to be cautious about supporting a foreign regime that does not support our democratic values and principles such as rule of law…. I would have thought our own police force would be a little more judicious when it comes to associating themselves with authoritarian foreign states that have a very different approach to policing its citizens.”

Meanwhile, in Communist China, the dictatorship ordered churches to raise the Communist flag and sing the praises of the Chinese Communist Party for the 70th anniversary. “Many churches in Hangzhou have been required to raise the national flag and sing the national anthem for a long while,” an attendee of a non-government church in Hangzhou dubbed “Mr. Zhou” was quoted as saying in media reports. “Now, China is back to an absurd era, and some regions are even worse than the Cultural Revolution era.” Some churches have also been ordered to replace the Ten Commandments with quotes from dictator Xi Jinping.

Celebrating the founding of the People’s Republic of China is to celebrate over 100 million murders, genocide, torture, barbarism, forced abortions, the harvesting of body organs from dissidents, savage religious persecution, and institutionalized slavery. Raising the flag of Communist China is as disgusting as raising the flag of National Socialist (Nazi) Germany or the Soviet Union. Making the American celebrations even more grotesque, though, is the fact that it was subversives within the U.S. government who betrayed the Chinese people and their leaders so that Chairman Mao could take over. Never again should the flag of Communist China or any other band of mass murderers be raised in the Land of the Free.

Castro’s Communism 0 (0)

Castro’s Communism- “This is Fidel Castro. This is a communist revolution.”

by Bill Lockwood

Fidel Castro, the brutal communist dictator of Cuba, responsible for the assassinations and political imprisoning of between 70,000 to 80,000 innocents, has died at the age of 90. Liberty-lovers are celebrating, such as the residents of Little Havana in South Miami, many of whom escaped the gulag state. We are reminded of the reason for their celebration by the writer Frank de Varona (Bear Witness Central) who accurately explains that “From the very beginning of Fidel Castro’s coming to power revolutionary violence and intimidation became the order of the day.” This included “summary executions” that astounded the world.

Predictably, not all world leaders are relieved with the passing of Castro. Foremost among them is Marxist Barack Obama who stated: “At this time of Fidel Castro’s passing, we extend a hand of friendship to the Cuban people. History will record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure on the people and the world around him.” Towing the same line, the Main Stream Media eulogizes the dictator by simply referring to Castro as the “leader” of Cuba. The affinity for Marxism needs no cover in today’s brainwashed society.

Castro

Fidel Castro was born into wealth in 1926. His father, a plantation owner, sent Fidel to the finest school in Cuba, the University at Havana. It was here, while studying social sciences, that young Castro read The Communist Manifesto and swiftly converted to the anti-god philosophy of Marxism/Communism. In a television interview in December of 1961 he boldly declared, “I am a Marxist-Leninist and will be until the day I die.”

At the age of 17, according to Fidel himself, young Castro was recruited into the hard-core communistic ranks by a Soviet NKVD agent named Bashirov, who had come to Cuba. That was 1943. Castro then traveled to Czechoslovakia to receive first-hand communistic revolutionary training. Here he was advised not to become an “official” Communist Party member as that membership might become a stumbling-block to the free world when he would be sent back to Cuba for bloody violence. Little did the Soviets realize that the official label “Communist” would not be such a black mark to the leaders of America who had already become completely sympathetic to the ideology of communism.

In 1948 Castro helped inspire the communist riots in Bogota, Columbia, even announcing publicly the following: “This is Fidel Castro. This is a communist revolution.” Later, the United States State Department official of the Caribbean Desk, William Arthur Wieland, testified that he was perfectly aware of Castro’s associations, ideology, and involvement in while in Columbia. This mattered little to our own government.

Castro later, along with his brother Raul, who later personally oversaw the ruthless executions of thousands of political dissidents in Cuba, finally conquered Havana, wresting it from the Batista regime. The date was January, 1959. This was accomplished with the assistance of Che Guevera, the Argentine Marxist who helped establish their reign of terror.

Two US Ambassadors to Cuba during Castro’s coup, Arthur Gardner and Earl Smith (1957-59) later testified before a US Senate Subcommittee that it was actually the United States government that “played a major role in brining Castro to power.” Besides publishing pro-Castro statements and memos, our government stopped assistance to the embattled Batista regime. The Eisenhower administration’s Secretary of State, John Foster Dulles for example, had undermined the Batista government by refusing to ship almost 2,000 rifles to Cuba. The United States had also persuaded other governments from around the world not to sell weapons to the Batista army.

The Media

In the end, it was primarily the Main Stream Media, the same one that promotes the notion that there is too much “fake news” on the internet, so much so that the ignorant public must have a “regulatory” board to vet information for consumption, that propped Communist Castro into power with its relentless stream of communist propaganda.

Though the facts were on the table for all to see, Edward Murrow produced a completely favorable TV special in behalf of Fidel Castro in 1959. Claiming the same thing that the State Department had said regarding Mao Tse Tung years earlier, that he is simply ‘an agrarian reformer’ who wants peace and liberty, Castro began to be catapulted to stardom.

Ed Sullivan, the host a TV variety show, endorsed young Castro to Americans with a slobbering favorable interview. Herbert Matthews of the New York Times wrote three glowing reports of Castro on the front page. Castro was hailed by Matthews as the “Abraham Lincoln” of Cuba! Matthew had earlier lionized other communist dictators around the world. William Atwood of Look magazine sang Castro’s praises, as did Dickey Chapelle in Reader’s Digest. Little wonder that Arthur Gardner and Earl Smith both credited not only our own United States government, but the press with bringing Castro to power.

The final insult to freedom came however, with John F. Kennedy’s “Bay of Pigs” debacle. When freedom fighters who had fled from the murderous Castro came to Florida, they planned an invasion back to their homeland of Cuba. The CIA actually put together the plan which promised air support to these 2,000 exiles who would land on the beaches of Cuba to retake their island home.

It was President John F. Kennedy himself who, after the freedom fighters had launched for Cuba, cancelled the air support. Kind history writers tell us it was due to the President’s “vacillation.” But the bloody massacre of these exiled fighters, composed of doctors, lawyers, and blue-collar workers, who had been promised United States support who were now on the beaches facing Castro’s seasoned revolutionary army, can only be called treasonous.

In the same treasonous spirit President Obama shakes hands with murderer Raul Castro and eulogizes his dead brother while explaining to the world that the cruel dictator Fidel Castro, will be judged by history as “a tremendous figure.” No judgment for mass murder from his lips! No condemnation for creating a communistic slave-state! No mention of treason and assassination! Just a tremendous figure. Judgments from our Marxist president are only reserved for Americans who wish to return to our lawful Constitutional system.
