The chronicles of civilization’s governments are the ultimate record of failed recycling. Mankind never learns! The greatest fail is the repetitive recycling of tyranny. Mankind complacently accepts subjection to immoral and evil authorities. The historicity is undeniable. Briefly observe how two historical government fails highlight the current conflict in our Republic (obviously there are many more examples but we only have time for two).

First, consider the majesty of Versailles Palace. This is remarkable in history. The Palace of Versailles, was the French royal residence and center of government, but it transformed into an extravagant complex. A telling fact about this grandiose structure, every detail of its construction was intended to glorify the king. The construction’s focus was on the Ruler. The ruled were ignored; they were viewed as inconsequential.

The Versailles Palace is one of the iconic portraits of the French Revolution. The French Revolution did not just happen in one day. The Revolution was a mixture of political, social and economic upheavals in France. The Palace of Versailles found itself in the middle of this conflict.

The public became agitated over the great governmental waste. The Court enjoyed extravagances while the population starved. Liberal principles removed trade barriers. Bad harvests and increasing prices fueled riots and revolt. Public opinion correctly connected the economic crisis with the monarchy. Consequently, a contempt for Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette fueled the national chaos.

The chaos led to degradation in economic, political and civil environments. On 15 July 1789, the storming of the Bastille panicked Versailles. The courtiers started to abandon the Palace. This beginning trickle soon became a flood and the Palace was emptied of its occupants.

The royal family left Versailles on 6 October 1789. The Palace of Versailles ceased to be a royal residence. It fell into disrepair and eventually was restored as a historical landmark of a failed government.

Second, consider Germany’s Third Reich. The history of this fail is well-known. The “rise and fall” of this government focuses directly upon those who served as its major leaders and the Reichstag members who permitted and approved the governing evils. The government failed because of its evil advocates.

In November 1945 the high-ranking surviving officials of the Third Reich were placed on trial before the International Military Tribunal (IMT) in Nuremberg, Germany. Among them were Göring, Ribbentrop, Frank, Rosenberg, Kaltenbrunner, and Hess.

The trial exposed the details and scope of the criminal governing. Accounts of inhumanity were listed; evidences of tyranny’s authority were validated; the bankruptcy of a political arena where dissent was punished was highlighted; the evil of a national governing that denied personal freedoms was a common factor.

Nuremberg established the horrors of a government that believes it can mandate what the citizens believe, speak, reside, travel and behave. Such behaviors were decided to be inhuman and worthy of capitol punishment. No excuse was permitted to justify such evil behavior.

The result of this trial should be sobering to all politicians. On October 1, 1946, 12 of the defendants were sentenced to death, three were acquitted, and the remaining defendants received prison sentences. Göring, committed suicide in his cell, and ten defendants were executed on October 16, 1946. Hess was the last imprisoned Nuremberg defendant to die in 1987.

It was a humiliating end to a government ruled by tyrants. What about the Reichstag congress? What about those “elected” to serve the population? Following the Nazi seizure of power and the Enabling Act of 1933, this “governing body” was only a rubber stamp for the actions of Hitler’s dictatorship. It was useless. It was inept. It was culpable in the fascist tyranny. Those serving in the congress, only furthered the State’s dictatorship. The “Party” always gave unanimous consent — no one dared to vote against the controlling personalities.

History reveals that…a government born from lies, maintained by fear and ruled with opinionated mandates was pure evil. The propaganda that fueled the citizens’ compliance was a manipulative ploy of the politically arrogant. The horrible “science” that funded the use human beings as test subjects, was pure evil manipulated by a heinous man. Every aspect of the Reich’s governing was exposed as pure evil. There was absolutely no justification or rationalization for the government’s actions. Yes such was applauded but it was an abomination!
Now here is the undeniable point to ponder on the “Fall of Versailles”—there is ultimately a punitive justice meted to those who arrogate to themselves an evil tyranny! Justice is coming to those who propagandize, “mandate,” coerce with arrogant authority, who market in human trafficking by medical experimentation, and, who occupy an elected position but remain silently compliant. Justice is coming!

Here is another recycled historical fact. Listen to its echoes throughout the centuries:

• “Wheels of justice grind slow but grind fine” ― Sun Tzu
• “So then, I have seen the wicked buried, those who used to go in and out from the holy place, and they are soon forgotten in the city where they did thus” (Solomon, Ecclesiastes 8:10, The Bible).
• Euripides, one of the greatest tragic writers of ancient Greece (480-406 BC), “Slow but sure moves the might of the gods.”
• Plutarch said, “Thus, I do not see what use there is in those mills of the gods said to grind so late as to render punishment hard to be recognized, and to make wickedness fearless.”
• “Though the mills of God grind slowly, yet they grind exceeding small; Though with patience He stands waiting, with exactness grinds He all.” ― Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Perhaps most tragic is the lesson focusing on our Republic. We are ruled by those who have no regard for personal liberty. Who wield the powers of government in a vindictive manner. Who care little about the economic calamities that fuel starvation while they feast on “gourmet” foods, party-hardy and enjoy mansions. Who feign concern for the poor only to the extent where they can personally profit. Who make scurrilous criminal charges against political enemies. Who propagandize lies as “truth.”

Gone are the politicians who actually “serve” the citizenry. Present are those who “serve” themselves. You can observe the behavior and listen to the bitter words of these politicians. Such are well described as “lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power” (2 Timothy 3:2-5).

The tyranny of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette was answered by the guillotine. Destiny condemned the tyranny of Hitler, the elected members of the Reichstag congress, and the Secretaries of the Third Reich.
All politicians, who view themselves as the “Rulers” over the “Ruled,” will face the inescapable recycling “mill of Justice that grinds slowly, but grinds finely.” These will face a wrath from a righteous populace. That wrath is stoked by the politician’s evil deeds and just punishment will be meted by those who have been wronged!

This fate is recycled history. Politicians can claim “misrepresentation.” They can manipulate the thinking of the people by propaganda’s lies. They can shroud themselves in deniability. They can weaponize government resources to punish their critics. But, they will NOT escape! These will find themselves in the recycled garbage heap of civilization’s failed governing. No matter how important they think they are “they are soon forgotten in the city where they did thus”!

To the current Congress of the United States of America…Will you learn and change your course in legislating the affairs of our nation so you will avoid the coming wrath of those you oppressed? Will you continue to view yourselves as the “Rulers” arrogantly tyrannizing those you view as “the Ruled”? Are you aware of the humiliating history that is chronicling your choice?

The Old Testament prophet Jeremiah is known as “the weeping prophet.” He was a citizen of a nation that had ascended to the pinnacle of world power. That nation had set the world’s standards for economic, civil, military, and political successes. These accomplishments were not approached by any other nation until Columbus discovered America in 1492 and the United States of America declared her God-given sovereignty in 1776.

But Jeremiah uttered an anguished cry, “Oh that my head were waters and my eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!” (9:1) and “Let my eyes flow down with tears night and day, and let them not cease; for the virgin daughter of my people has been crushed with a mighty blow, with a sorely infected wound” (14:17).

The prophet sorrowed because his nation had dissolved into anarchy. The Rule of Law that once assured peace, safety, and successes had been replaced. The prophet was perplexed by this catastrophic change in his nation’s direction. “I have listened and heard, they have spoken what is not right; No man repented of his wickedness, Saying, ‘What have I done?’” (8:6) and again “I know, O Lord, that a man’s way is not in himself, nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps” (10:23).

Jeremiah walked his city looking at the corrupt culture. No doubt he shook his head and asked “What IS happening to my country?!” He mourned, “We waited for peace, but no good came; for a time of healing, but behold, terror!” (8:15)
With one brief word the Prophet summarizes the culture of a nation in crisis—“Terror”!

Rule of Law in America?

This highlights a historical constant—when a nation dissolves the Rule of Law that sets boundaries and regulates behavior, then that nation’s foundation begins to crack, crumble and collapse. It does not matter how strong the military is. It does not matter how weak the enemy is. It does not matter how vibrant the economy is. If God is denied and the Rule of Law is ignored, catastrophe is certain.

This truth has been recognized. Perhaps one of the more recent comments, “If we ever forget that we’re one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.” (President Ronald Reagan August 23, 1984).
Another truism states, “A nation without God is a God-less nation.”
The truth of history repeatedly validates that when a nation turns away from God and refuses to restrict the immorality of its population, then evil rules and national collapse is near. Such a message was sent to the World Empire of Nineveh (Jonah 3:4). That nation repented and was spared collapse until it turned away from God’s Rule of Law and refused to repent. It was then destroyed.

This historical constant applies to modern America. This is not just a boring historical fact to be welcomed by a “ho-hum” sigh. This is our present reality. The United States of America is experiencing Jeremiah’s desperation, “We waited for peace, but no good came; For a time of healing, but behold, terror!” (8:15)

The added stress is the fact that many appear to have surrendered to this cultural anarchy. Night after night people are attacked, kicked to the streets, victims of arson and anarchy. The law officers are resigning. Many are surrendering to the anarchists. Now the protestors are marching into the suburbs demanding the houses be given to them. “Racism” and “reparations” are used to justify the vilest acts of inhumanity.

Two Revolutions Compared

But…this situation in the United States of America is not new. It is only a repeat of the historical constant that lawlessness destroys peace and a lawless culture does not bring personal freedom but a total national collapse.
The late 1700’s provides us with an amazing lesson validating our point. Two revolutions marked that era but each was diametrically opposed to the other. One based its foundation on the Rule of Law that comes from “the Creator” (God Almighty). The other based its foundation on the Rule of Law that is established by “Man’s Reason and Enlightenment” without God Almighty. It is this choice that America faces in 2020—which Rule of Law will our nation choose to follow?
Consider the foundation of each of these nations.

We first consider France 1789 the “Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen” was composed. This claimed to be a document safeguarding the basic charters of human liberties. Its 17 articles, adopted between August 20 and August 26, 1789, by France’s National Assembly, served as the preamble to the Constitution of 1791. The basic principle of the Declaration was that all “men are born and remain free and equal in rights” (Article 1), these rights were specified as the rights of liberty, private property, the inviolability of the person, and resistance to oppression (Article 2). This document inspired the French Revolution. The vague terms were used to disguised a malevolent goal—yes property, liberty, and personal rights were stated BUT they would be defined far differently than the general population understood. Yes “oppression” was to be resisted BUT ONLY as defined by the elite. The general attitude of the anarchists implementing this Declaration is well voiced by a politician in recent weeks who said, “Yes everyone should have a choice in wearing face masks as long as they make the RIGHT choice.”

It is significant to note the sources of the Declaration included the major thinkers of the French Enlightenment, such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Voltaire.

This Revolution was founded on a God-less basis and subsequent actions were God-less tyranny, evil, murders, arson, confiscation of private property, and the total destruction of a nation.

The second revolution to be considered was that in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania [July 1776] where The Declaration of Independence was composed and ratified. In total contrast to the French the Declaration of Independence stated, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” (Preamble to the Declaration of Independence).

The contrast between The United States of America and France is stark. In fact, it is actually SHOCKING. One places trust and confidence in the protection of the Almighty Creator. The other exalts human reasoning and man’s “enlightened” freedom from religious obligations.

The greatest contrast is found in the consequent history of each nation. The USA soared to success and world influence. The economy, military, and culture of American became the envy of the world. The jurisprudence governing our civility made “true justice” a reality. France devolved further into anarchy. Historians identify the period of time (June 1793-July 1794) following France’s “Declaration of Man” as “The Terror.”

Even the blind can see this frightening contrast.

An explanation of France’s acceptance of anarchy that led to its collapse is suggested by this historian. “It is ironic that of all countries in Europe, France was the only one that could have had a revolution—not because she groaned under the lash of tyranny, but, on the contrary, because she tolerated and even invited every conceivable dissension and heresy. Restlessness, a passion for novelty and the pursuit of excitement were everywhere in the air. They were the fruits of idleness and leisure, not of poverty.” (PARIS IN THE TERROR, June 1793-July 1794. Stanley Loomis. J. B. Lippincott Company. Philadelphia and New York,1964. Page 12).

Culture cannot cancel history! The “cancel culture” is another point of absurdity that should be discussed but I do not have time to address it here. But I simply note the absolute fact that the prevailing pressure and riotous actions of today’s blasphemous culture CANNOT cancel the historical constant!

There is an idiom stating that one “cannot whistle past the graveyard.” This idiomatic phrase describes the attempt of one to stay cheerful in a dire situation. One thus described is going forward into a situation and ignoring a certain hazard. Even if the hazard is recognized the fool proceeds hoping for a good outcome. Those thus described enter a situation with little or no understanding of the possible consequences.

This is where the United States of America is in 2020. We are at a crossroad with a choice to follow the historical precedent that made our nation great or to choose the historical folly of Revolutionary France.

There is much more to say about this choice and its ramifications for modern America.

I close with a reference to another historical event that chronicles the collapse of a great nation into anarchy’s chaos. Hosea 4 addresses Israel’s surrender of allegiance to God’s Rule of Law and her acceptance of anarchy’s terror.

Hosea 4

“Listen to the word of the Lord, O sons of Israel, for the Lord has a case against the inhabitants of the land,
because there is no faithfulness or  kindness or knowledge of God in the land. There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing and adultery. They employ violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed. Therefore, the land mourns, and everyone who lives in it languishes along with the beasts of the field and the birds of the sky, and also the fish of the sea disappear” (1-3).

Unspeakable catastrophe results when there is “no knowledge of God in the land.” There is violence, immorality, lawlessness, and disrespect for the governing legal officers. The entire scene is sadly summarized “bloodshed follows bloodshed.”

What is the answer? It is either follow man’s arrogance or submit to God’s sovereignty. One way brings “terror” and the other brings tranquility.

Hosea’s message highlights these primary points…

Truth and mercy are attributes and virtues of humanity only IF the population follows God’s Rule of Law.
Truth implies uprightness in speech and behavior. True integrity in character and conduct is possible only IF the Law of the Almighty God is permitted to transform one’s thoughts and actions.

Mercy combined with truth makes a man kind as well as honest, benevolent as well as upright. These blessings are possible only IF one submits to the Almighty God. When man rejects God’s Law and chooses anarchy, he will NEVER find kindness, honesty, benevolence and integrity. Those involved in today’s riots illustrate this truth and they join the anarchists of the French Revolution.

The knowledge of God is the only cure for the problems of society today. The cure cannot be legislated. The cure cannot be coerced by an angry mob violence. And, the cure cannot be achieved by the culture of cancelation of things that are offensive to a minority.

If we know God to be a God of truth, we will cultivate truth in our hearts, express it with our lips, and practice it in our lives.

If we know God as a God of mercy, who has shown boundless mercy to us in pardoning our multiplied and aggravated offences, we will imitate that mercy in our relations to our fellow-man.

The Prophet’s point was clear—violence, bloodshed, and anarchy result because the nation did not know God. This point was further stressed in chapter 4:

Verse 6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” Destruction is coming because knowledge was rejected. The people knew God but refused to obey God.
Verse 7, “The more they multiplied, the more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame.” The degree and examples of sin multiplied greatly.
Verse 8, “They feed on the sin of My people and direct their desire toward their iniquity.” The impact of the general sinning increased the intensity and shocking nature of sin in society.
Verse 10, “They will eat, but not have enough; they will play the harlot, but not increase, because they have stopped giving heed to the Lord.” There is no satisfying the anarchist’s appetite. Anarchy cannot be placated. You cannot appease terrorists.
Verse 19, “And they will be ashamed.” The finality of a nation that has turned from God and chosen anarchy is sorrowfully recorded for history to hold.

The United States of America was founded upon principles taught by the Almighty Jehovah God of the Bible. If we reject that we are one nation under God’s sovereignty, we face destruction. Jeremiah 20:4, “(T)hus says the Lord, ‘Behold, I am going to make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends’.”

How to overcome evil – Jesse Lee Peterson exposes battle raging in America under ‘wicked’ leaders

President Trump told the absolute truth in Saudi Arabia when he said we are in a battle between good and evil. A day after he spoke to more than 50 leaders of the Muslim world about the scourge of terror, a Muslim terrorist set off a nail bomb at Manchester Arena, killing at least 22 innocent people at an Ariana Grande concert and injuring 60 others. A few days later, terrorists ambushed and killed 29 Coptic Christians on buses in Egypt. Weeks earlier on Palm Sunday, Muslims killed dozens of Coptic Christians in two church bombings in Egypt.

Terror attacks have become the norm. They’re not even a big deal anymore. There are too many to count in the Middle East and Africa. Terror is now expected and accepted by “leaders” in the West. London’s first Muslim mayor said in response to the bombings in New York and New Jersey last September (which you may already have forgotten about) that “part and parcel of living in a great, global city is that you’ve got to be prepared” for terror attacks.

It would be better and wiser to keep Muslims out of our countries. WND journalist Leo Hohmann points out that Japan has no problem of Islamic terrorism in its borders, as it has a permanent ban on refugees from Muslim countries. Hohmann reports terror is not happening in Poland, Slovenia or Hungary, either – because they keep Muslim migrants out. But the wicked United Nations and European Union pressure these countries to take in refugees, threatening billions of dollars in fines, legal action and “consequences” – to quit protecting their own people. Instead, they welcome unknown refugees like politically correct countries do.

For decades, governments in Western countries have put their citizens at risk by welcoming their enemies. When these enemies kill their people, government officials pay lip service to “thoughts and prayers” for the victims and their families. They need to be thinking and praying before they endanger their citizens like unfaithful, deadbeat public servants.

Our government has one job: to protect the people. It has failed over and over again. When will We the People overcome our weakness in electing wicked leaders who put our lives on the line?

Europe will fall to Islam. There is nothing to stop the jihadist takeover, because white people are too weak. When you elect “leaders” who accept your enemy into your country, you are weak. Remember the Brussels bombings? The Paris attacks? In response to the Bastille Day truck attack in Nice that killed 86 and injured 434, Trump observed, “France is no longer France.” Whole neighborhoods in France, England, Germany and Sweden are “no-go zones” taken-over by Muslims enforcing Shariah law.

It’s concerning that the influx of Muslim “refugees” under Trump has increased and not slowed, thanks, no doubt, to Obama holdovers in the State Department’s Office of Refugee Resettlement, apparently with the blessing of the DOJ. A big influx of mostly Muslim refugees was predicted by WND in March, and increases were reported by Breitbart this weekend.

Trump has a huge mess left by former Presidents Barack Obama (the most pro-Islamic president ever), George Bush and Bill Clinton, including 2.6 million permanent employees in the federal bureaucracy and 4,000 political appointees who mostly oppose Trump’s swamp-draining.

There are many parties to the same evil at work: 1) the “evil losers in life” as Trump branded the terrorists, 2) our government, liberal media, phony churches, activists and nonprofits whose false compassion for “refugees” and aliens, and greed for money and power, opens us up to attack, and 3) We the People, who allow our government to put our lives on the line.

Most reading WND support neither Shariah nor liberalism, which surrenders to Shariah, but many of us complain and feel helpless to stop the madness. We’ve seen major players in the media attacked and taken down after they stood in the way of political correctness.

At Fox News, the children of evil took out Roger Ailes, Bill O’Reilly and Bill Shine, and they make major threats against Sean Hannity. These men were part of the reason America held onto a semblance of sanity. They helped expose Islamic terrorist training camps in America and the enemies within our government and liberal media who are more concerned about “Islamophobia” than terrorism.

But another man, President Trump, stood alone in a swamp of cowardly, politically correct politicians and won for America. How can we support him in his promises to protect us?

The anger of the “evil losers” in ISIS and al-Qaida is not unlike the anger of murderers in our cities, or your own when you act out in rage. And the weakness of politicians is not unlike the leniency of so many mothers of thugs who excuse and deny their children’s criminal behavior and lack of character, or your own when you accept sin.

My best advice is that you look within yourself, pray and overcome the weakness that holds you back in life, in your family and in business. We all can see the weakness of RINOs and the wickedness of liberals who usher evil into the country. But have you dealt with the weakness and wickedness in yourself?

Shedding of Blood

A chasm as wide as the world separates Christianity and Islam. Whether one compares the founders or the doctrines or the practices, the difference is as stark as beams of sunlight piercing the gloom of inky darkness. The living Christ is the light of the world while cultures created by following a dead Muhammad are comparable to descending into dark dungeons of ignorance. To see and feel the distinction, consider in the following the doctrine of what might be called The Shedding of Blood. Christianity and Islam each have a teaching surrounding the shedding of blood.

Prophetic Preparation

Christianity. The Old Testament canon was completed almost four centuries prior to the arrival of Christ and contains more than 300 specific prophecies that were fulfilled in the life of Jesus Christ. At the heart of these predictions is Isaiah 53 which, with great specificity, speaks of the shedding of blood in the life of the Messiah. It was a vicarious suffering on behalf of mankind.

“Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrow: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed. … And as for his generation, who among them considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living for the transgression of my people for whom the stroke was due? … Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul of offering for sin” (Isaiah 53:4, 5, 8, 10).

Islam. What does one find when one turns to the religion founded by Muhammad? There were no predictive prophecies of him, of course, because true prophecy requires divine inspiration, which is lacking in Islam. However, later biographers of Muhammad invented “predictions” which they put into the mouths of individuals which were supposedly spoken by persons before Muhammad. One of the earliest of such biographers was Ibn Ishaq.

And what “prediction” do we read in Ishaq’s treatment of Muhammad? Ishaq relates that a “Jew” came to the Muhammad’s Arabian tribe of the Koreish which lived in Banu Qurayza. He was looking for a “prophet” from among that people and he issued a “warning.” This “Jewish warning” was that a “prophet” would “emerge” who would be “sent to shed blood and to take captive the women and children of those who oppose him.” Ishaq reminds the reader that later, when Muhammad “besieged Banu Qurayza” (626 A.D.) the “young men” remembered this prediction. (The Life of Muhammad, p. 94).

One was predicted to shed his own blood in a vicarious sacrifice for the sins of mankind; the other was to wear an iron sword and “shed blood” by besieging cities and destroying people.

The Founding of the Religions

Christianity. One fourth of the gospel material (Matthew-John) centers on the voluntary self-sacrifice of Jesus shedding His own blood on behalf of others. The writer of Hebrews emphasizes that “without the shedding of blood there is no remission” (Heb. 9:22). Actually, the very theme of the Hebrews demonstrates that the Old Testament has been replaced by the New and that all of the sacrificed animals under the Old system were but types of Christ who has now “once for all” shed his blood for the redemption of mankind. He “put away sin by the sacrifice of himself” (9:26).

At the core of Christianity is the blood of Christ. Through faith “in his blood” which was voluntarily shed (John 10:17, 18) our redemption was purchased (Rom. 3:23-25) and we are now “justified by his blood” (Rom. 5:9). The entirety of the New Testament is summarized in his blood (1 Cor. 11:25).

But the shedding of blood is only efficacious to us because, as all four gospel records relate, Jesus was bodily resurrected from the dead. Hinging upon this truth is the entire corpus of Christianity (1 Cor. 15:1-4; 12-15). This is why Christianity is “good news.” The late New Testament scholar F.F. Bruce explains:

“For the Christian gospel is not primarily a code of ethics or a metaphysical system; it is first and foremost good news, and as such it was proclaimed by its earliest preachers. … And this good news is intimately bound up with the historical order, for it tells how for the world’s redemption God entered into history, the eternal came into time, … in the great events of the incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ” (F.F. Bruce, New Testament Documents: Are They Reliable?).

Therefore, it matters not how many times President Obama or those of his ilk point to the bloody Crusades of Medieval times as a period of shame. These were apostate Roman Catholic physical wars that had nothing to do with any doctrine of Christianity.

Islam. What do we find when we turn to the religion of Islam? There is indeed the “shedding of blood.”

Islam is defined by the trilogy of texts: Koran, Sira (the biography of Mohammed) and Hadith (his traditions). The complete foundation of Islam is laid in these authoritative texts. What did Mohammed do, and what did he say? Without this there is no such thing as Islam.

Muhammad claimed that Allah commanded him to fight bloody wars with unbelievers in Islam until they become Muslim and carry out the ordinances of Islam. All Muslim scholars without exception agree on this. In the hadith collected by Bukhari Muhammad said, “I have been ordered by God to fight with people till they bear testimony to the fact that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is his messenger, and that they establish prayer and pay [money]. If they do it, their blood and their property are safe from me.” (Bukhari, vol. I, p. 13).

These wars were not just “defensive wars.” Dr. Muhammad Sai’id Ramadan al-Buti, one of the modern Azhar scholars in Egypt, his book Jurisprudence in Muhammad’s Biography, explains: “The Holy War, as it is known in Islamic Jurisprudence, is basically an offensive war. This is the duty of Muslims in every age when the needed military power becomes available to them.” With this dictum all Saudi scholars agree.

The practice of Islam is the Iron Rule. Might makes right. “And one who attacks you; attack him in like manner as he attacks you” (Surah 2:194). There is nothing “defensive” about “Fight and slay the pagans wherever you may find them” (Surah 9:5). “When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly” (47:4). “Know that Paradise is under the shades of swords” (Jihad in Allah’s Cause, Bukhari, Vol. 4, book 56, no. 2818).

The above texts are not aberrations. This is the heart of Islam. Measuring in the complete trilogy the amount of texts devoted to Jihad is one-third. The Koran gives the great vision of jihad and spells it out in detail. The Sira is a strategic manual of how to wage jihad and two-thirds is dedicated to violent jihad. “Basically, when Mohammed was a preacher of religion (the first period of his life, bl), Islam grew at the rate of 10 new Muslims per year. But when he turned to jihad, Islam grew at an average rate of 10,000 per year” (Bill Warner, Factual Persuasion).

The founder of Christianity shed his own blood in sacrifice for others; the founder of Islam personally shed the blood of multitudes to force compliance.

Marching Orders

Christianity. Following the example of Jesus Christ himself, Christians are commanded to copy their Master. Instructed “not to please ourselves” (Rom. 15:1) but, like the Lord, be self-sacrificial for others. “Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good unto edifying. For Christ also pleased not Himself…” (15:2, 3).

Going forward, the purpose of the cross and the shedding of Jesus’ blood is “leaving you and example that you should follow his steps … who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judges righteously” (1 Pet. 2:22,23). The New Testament is replete with such-like admonitions of self-sacrifice, putting others and their needs above our own.

Islam. Since Mohammed’s time his doctrines have inspired the murder of more than 270 million and the rape of tens of millions of women. Led by the example of the false prophet Mohammed himself, Islam hacked its way across Europe, violating treaties and destroying kafir (unbeliever, non-Muslim) cultures. The pretended inspiration of the Koran has motivated centuries of violence after the order of the marauding Bedouin.

Muhammad’s final instructions to his followers were to wage jihad which is why his religion is named “Islam”—submission. This violent fighting is not optional for the Muslim. “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing that is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows, and ye know not.” . How then are we continually lectured today by our cultural leaders that violence-mongers are only a “handful” of Muslims who are somehow “misinterpreting the Koran”?

The contrast between Christianity and Islam is as stark as can be imagined. Turning to the Bible from the Koran is like stepping off of shifting sand onto solid rock. Most damaging of all, therefore, is the common paradigm that Christianity is a religion and Islam is a religion, and the two somehow must be on an equal footing before our Constitution.

With the ongoing blood-letting rampages in America, from the Ft. Hood shooting by Maj. Hasan, to the Boston bombing at the hands of the Tsarnaev brothers, to the recent San Bernardino, California Islamic terror massacre by Farook and his female partner Malik, it would seem that Americans would be willing to peer beneath the false façade that Islam is merely another religion. But alas! Too many are still scratching their heads in bewilderment, unable to understand that Islam is nothing less than political communism with a sharp religious edge.

The late Belgian Muslim jihadist responsible for the recent Paris blood letting, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, can be seen in a photograph that has now been published world-wide. In a silent message he is seen holding forth in his outstretched right hand a copy of the Koran and in his left he clutches the flag of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). From the professorships in the university to the media and law enforcement the question that continues to be so elusive is, “How did he become radicalized?” But to those who have not been so willfully blinded by politically correct whitewashing the answer is obvious.

Why the Socialism of the Democratic Party is Evil

Socialism is a competing view of human nature than that offered by the Bible. At the heart of a socialistic worldview is the basic premise that the nature of man is shaped by the economic system. It is only because of this particular view of human nature that socialism includes a theory of the nature and function of government which redistributes wealth. In other words, the only way to change human behavior is through forcible redistribution of resources. This is exactly what Bernie Sanders, the senator from Vermont, asserted in the Saturday night Democratic debate when he said that Climate Change is the biggest “security threat” to the United States.

On Sunday, CBS News’ John Dickerson followed up the Saturday debate with Sanders on “Face the Nation,” which Dickerson hosts. Dickerson asked whether or not Sanders had changed his mind on the assessment that Climate Change was the biggest “security threat” in light of the Muslim terrorist attacks in Paris. Socialist Sanders responded, “If we are going to see an increase in drought, flood and extreme weather disturbances as a result of climate change, what that means is that people all over the world are going to be fighting over limited natural resources.” “If there is not enough water, if there is not enough land to grow your crops, then you’re going to see migrations of people fighting over land that will sustain them, and that will lead to international conflicts.”

Dickerson interjected, “But how does drought connect with attacks by [the Islamic State] in the middle of Paris?” Sanders continued, “When you have drought, when people can’t grow their crops, they’re going to migrate into cities, and when people migrate into cities and they don’t have jobs, there’s going to be a lot more instability, a lot more unemployment and people will be subject to the types of propaganda that al-Qaeda and ISIS are using right now. So where you have discontent, where you have instability, that’s where problems arise, and certainly, without a doubt, climate change will lead to that.”

Overtly Anti-Christian

The bloody Muslim terrorist attacks in Paris are aided and abetted by this false and ignorant view of human nature espoused by socialism and voiced by Bernie Sanders. It refuses common sense and insists, even before the smoke in Paris has dissipated, that people are not as much shaped by what they believe—the Koran or any other set of beliefs—but by economics. Sanders would have us to believe that the poverty of the attackers, not the teaching of the Koran, is the cause. This is mass BRAINWASHING on a Hitlerian scale that has emanated from the academy and has engulfed the entire Democratic Party. Sadly, it will continue to wreak a horrific vengeance upon society as long as liberalism fails to grasp the basics of human nature.

Vergilius Ferm, in his Encyclopedia of Religion, explains this gross error of socialism. “American socialism is heir to the tradition of materialism and atheism. It relies on the growth of automatic perfection, not indeed by virtue of the given natural faculties of man, but as the product of causally inevitable economic changes. The result is parallel to that of the liberal utopia, a self-contained world of man, individualistic here, collectivist there, and redeemed from evil, once and for all, by the economic process, much as this requires men conscious of their opportunity. This is an overtly anti-Christian doctrine.”

Oscar Jaszi, the famed Hungarian social scientist and politician, noted that socialists insist that the “immorality of the established order is traceable NOT to the …nature of man, but to ‘corrupt institutions.’”  Therefore, socialism always seeks to transform the institutions of society because they are somehow “unjust.” Since socialism teaches that the nature of man is shaped by the economic system, if one changes the economic system from private ownership to the collective state ownership, the nature of man will be changed—for the better per the Democratic Party.

The Reality of Human Nature

The founders of America, with one voice, repudiated the socialistic fantasy regarding human nature. Man is a free moral agent which is independent of his economic status. Man is sinful by practice (Rom. 3:23) which is why unbridled power, not poverty, was considered the greatest enemy to freedom. Human experience shows that poverty does not necessarily breed bad behavior nor does an equality of goods among citizens foster a better society. Moral sensitivity is imbedded in the heart of poor and rich alike and has nothing whatsoever to do with our wealth or lack thereof. Men are still moved by ideals, good or bad.

One man who had discarded this truth only to find it again was American editor and journalist Max Eastman. After experimenting with socialistic theories, even traveling to the Soviet Union to learn from the masters at the Kremlin, he repudiated it. In his Reflections on the Failure of Socialism, he tells us why socialism is always a failure. “It seemed perfectly clear, once the question was boldly put, that if the socialist hypothesis were valid in general, some tiny shred of the benefits promised by it would have appeared when the Russian capitalists were expropriated and production taken over by the state, no matter how untoward the circumstances. By that time everything in Russia was worse from the standpoint of socialist ideals that it had been under the regime of the Tsar.  I did not need any additional experiments such as that of Nazi Germany, or in England, to the obvious drift in other countries, to convince me.  I was sure than the whole idea of extending freedom, or justice, or equality, or any other civilized value, to the lower classes through common ownership of the means of production was a delusive dream, a bubble that had taken over a century to burst.”

As Eastman would say, how many more failed experiments do we need of socialistic control before we will repudiate it? Apparently, even blood in the streets of Paris does not faze the socialists. They must preach their foolish theory. The Barack Obama’s and Bernie Sanders of the world will keep on messing around with their academic ivory-tower falsehoods to the erosion of our safety and loss of our freedom.
