Robert Spencer: Loyola Marymount University: It’s “Islamophobic” to be “Counter-Jihad” 0 (0)

by Robert Spencer

The Los Angeles Loyolan tells us that it is Loyola Marymount University’s “award-winning, student-run news organization,” and it is not surprising that it would have won awards from the people who give out awards these days, because like all campus papers, it is a reliable guide to how deeply the far-Left indoctrination that most professors are conducting is taking root in their unwitting students. One of those students is the Assistant Opinion Editor for the Los Angeles Loyolan, a young man (I know that because he helpfully informs us that his pronouns are “He/Him/His”) named Cristobal Spielmann, who is, like all well-informed, duly woke students today, horrified at the prospect that someone would be so “racist” as to oppose jihad mass murder and Sharia oppression of women and others.

Inside Higher Ed may weep bitter crocodile tears over my noting the ominous assumptions behind Spielmann’s words, as the young fellow is only a child, but he is a child putting his views out in the public forum, and consequently must deal with public dissent from his views – at least until he and his fellow fascists secure power.

And Spielmann’s views are indeed ominous. I am an “anti-Muslim extremist,” he claims in an extended complaint against Loyola Marymount’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter, and offers this as his explanation of why: a pamphlet I wrote “takes every opportunity to paint the near entirety of Islam and the Quran as violent while creating a paranoid ‘us vs. them’ narrative of the West in a moral struggle with Islam.”

In reality, of course, the West is not in the least engaged in a moral struggle with Islam. Many Muslims, however, are in a moral struggle with the West and other non-Muslim entities. Apparently it is “Islamophobic” to take any notice of that. It is objectionable enough just to note that the Qur’an has passages calling for violence against non-Muslims. Did I misquote the Qur’an, or state its contents inaccurately? Spielmann had the residual honesty not to go so far as to say that, and of course he would not have been able to say it if he meant to tell the truth at all, since I don’t misquote or misrepresent the Qur’an. He just doesn’t like what I said about it, because it doesn’t fit the way he wants to pretend that the world is.

Even worse, “This isn’t even the first time that the LMU chapter of YAF has engaged in Islamophobia. Last fall semester, YAF posted a counter-jihad poster…”

So now it’s “Islamophobic,” at least at Loyola Marymount University, even to oppose jihad and to post a “counter-jihad poster.” Apparently now even opposing jihad, the imperative that led Mohamed Atta and his comrades to murder 3,000 people on September 11, 2001, and that has been the driving force behind over 36,000 terror attacks worldwide since that date, is “Islamophobic.”

This has been a long time coming. The seeds of it were planted the first time the establishment media labeled opposition to jihad terror and Sharia oppression “anti-Muslim.” If it’s anti-Muslim to oppose those things, then the establishment media narrative that such violence and oppression is perpetrated only by a tiny minority of extremists that misunderstands its own religion is false – but of course no establishment counterterror analyst has ever taken notice of that.

I have for years pointed out that when foes of jihad terror are smeared as “anti-Muslim” and “Islamophobic,” without any attempt whatsoever to delineate a proper and respectable response to that terror, then all resistance to the advancing jihad is stigmatized, and ultimately becomes impossible. That is exactly where we are now, in the thoroughly indoctrinated mind of young Cristobal Spielmann and millions of others like him. Leftist professors all over the country are turning out people like Cristobal on a daily basis. Before too long they will likely make it altogether impossible to say the slightest negative word about jihad mass murder, and when they do so, they will think they are doing something righteous. By that time even the most happily blinkered Leftist may wake up to what is happening. But it will be too late.

Kathleen Marquardt: Political Correctness, just one tool in the arsenal of Sustainability 0 (0)

Political Correctness, just one tool in the arsenal of Sustainability- Besides that loss of free speech on college campuses, we have social justice dictating what can, can’t, and must be done.”

by Kathleen Marquardt

At its worst, political correctness is nothing different from Orwell’s Newspeak – an attempt to change the way people think by forcibly changing the way they speak.” Urban Dictionary

“Every child in America entering school at the age of five is mentally ill because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our founding fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It’s up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well by creating the international child of the future.”    Chester M. Pierce, Harvard psychiatrist, speaking as an expert in public education at the 1973 International Education Seminar.

The “Dear Hillary” letter, written on Nov. 11, 1992 by Marc Tucker, president of the National Center on Education and the Economy (NCEE), lays out a plan “to remold the entire American system” into “a seamless web that literally extends from cradle to grave and is the same system for everyone,” coordinated by “a system of labor market boards at the local, state and federal levels” where curriculum and “job matching” will be handled by counselors “accessing the integrated computer-based program.”

Tucker’s plan would change the mission of the schools from teaching children academic basics and knowledge to training them to serve the global economy in jobs selected by workforce boards. Nothing in this comprehensive plan has anything to do with teaching schoolchildren how to read, write, or calculate.

Twenty-seven or eight years ago, I was interviewed by a reporter at the Sacramento Bee about my articles challenging the thinking of animal rights. The reporter said to me, “But they are politically correct and you are not.” I agreed, saying that if anyone ever called me politically correct, it would be time to slit my throat.

Why do I bring this up now? Back then I didn’t realize where p.c. was going; now it is full-force tyranny. Am I exaggerating? Few people who do not back socialist-leaning thought are allowed to speak on our campuses of ‘higher learning’, many sporting bumper stickers pro Trump or Christianity or pro life have their cars keyed or spray painted. You don’t hear about that happening when one has a coexist bumper sticker.

Political Correctness has become a tool, one of many in the arsenal of global tyranny. It is a tool that could not have been used 40 or 50 years ago; most people still had rational, thinking brains. Since my interview with the Sacramento Bee, the road to hell – or global government – or the death of Western Culture — has gotten so steep we may not be able to stop it or even slow it down.

Do I exaggerate? You tell me. Besides that loss of free speech on college campuses, we have social justice dictating what can, can’t, and must be done. Many campuses require you to intuit someone’s arbitrary choice of gender so that you may properly address them (it would take a perfect clairvoyant to achieve this). Let’s move on to the important stuff – academic learning, or the lack thereof.

College students used to take a liberal arts degree in their undergraduate work to give them a well-rounded base. Now that and most other true academic learning has been ditched for social justice studies, sustainable studies, gaming studies – anything that is anti Western Culture, anything that makes one unemployable, anything that dumbs down the next generations.

Textbooks are full of misinformation, propaganda and lies. Classic literature is banned for using outdated words. Books are ignored or shunned for promoting morality, literacy, reason, common sense, and civility. And while our institutes of higher learning preach, “question authority”, they don’t actually teach questioning anything but Western Culture and its values. They certainly don’t teach students to question the professors’ authority. No longer do students debate tough issues; no one wants to take the side of the non-politically correct.

How did we get from the Declaration of Independence to the State of Political Correctness? One major contributor was the book, The Ideal Communist City, (a design for No Child Left Behind, Common Core and all the other aliases of behavior modification of children) said here in public education, “The best opportunity for contact among children of preschool age occurs in the nursery, which is the best setting for developing the child’s imitative powers and individual activities. He expresses his inclinations most freely here, and his egocentricity is least harmfully repressed. The positive value of group activity, of course, is fully realized only when it is organized and directed by educators who have benefited from advanced social training.”

Or look at this from the BSTEP program our government (Department of Health, Education, and Welfare) hired Michigan State University to design. “A small elite will carry society’s burdens. The resulting impersonal manipulation of most people’s life styles will be softened by provisions for pleasure seeking and guaranteed physical necessities. Participatory democracy in the American-ideal mold will mainly disappear. The worth and dignity of individuals will be endangered on every hand. Only exceptional individuals will be able to maintain a sense of worth and dignity.”

Let’s not overlook UNESCO, here, “As long as a child breathes the poisoned air of nationalism, education in world-mindedness (one-world order) can produce only precarious results. As we have pointed out, it is frequently the family that infects the child with extreme nationalism. The school should therefore use the means described earlier to combat family attitudes that favor jingoism (nationalism). We shall presently recognize in nationalism the major obstacle to development of world-mindedness.” UNESCO publication #356, “In the Classroom: Toward World Understanding”

It took only about half the lifetime of our country to get us here.

In 1918, Mary Parker Follett wrote, in The New State, group organization – the solution of popular government, “The training for the new democracy must be from the cradle – through nursery, school and play, and on and on through every activity of our life. Citizenship is not to be learned in good government classes or current events courses or lessons in civics. It is to be acquired through those modes of living and acting which shall teach us how to grow the social consciousness. This should be the object of all day school education, of all night school education, of all our supervised recreation, of all our family life, of our club life, of our civic life.

“When we change or ideas of the relation of the individual to society, our whole system of education changes. What we want to teach is interdependence, that efficiency waits on discipline, that discipline is obedience to the whole of which I am a part.. . . when we know how to teach social discipline, then we shall know how to ‘teach school.’ The object of education is to fit children into the life of the community.” P.363

So, according to Follett, our lives must focus completely on losing our individual rights and work to subordinate any freedoms we might consider to the cosmic one-ness, the group. The thought of that (if there are thinking minds left) would drive most of us to suicide.

John Dewey, the reformer of the education system, said, “I believe that the school is primarily a social institution. Education being a social process, the school is simply that form of community life in which all those agencies are concentrated that will be most effective in bringing the child to share in the inherited resources of the race, and to use his own powers for social ends. I believe that education, therefore, is a process of living and not a preparation for future living.”

“Humanist Manifesto” (1933) co-author Dewey calls for a synthesizing of all religions and “a socialized and cooperative economic order.” [1]

America cannot last under this. Our country is based on Western Culture, Judeo/Christian Values, the Rule of Law, and other rational, reasoning social institutions. As we eradicate morality, common sense, values, attitudes, and beliefs, we become no different than the animals. Look at Venezuela. Do we want that at a magnitude of the nth degree? If not, now is the time to wake up, stand up, and speak out. We don’t have much time left. Look at the streets of San Francisco, Chicago, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles. Is this what we want to call our civilization?

How to overcome evil – Jesse Lee Peterson exposes battle raging in America under ‘wicked’ leaders

by Jesse Lee Peterson

President Trump told the absolute truth in Saudi Arabia when he said we are in a battle between good and evil. A day after he spoke to more than 50 leaders of the Muslim world about the scourge of terror, a Muslim terrorist set off a nail bomb at Manchester Arena, killing at least 22 innocent people at an Ariana Grande concert and injuring 60 others. A few days later, terrorists ambushed and killed 29 Coptic Christians on buses in Egypt. Weeks earlier on Palm Sunday, Muslims killed dozens of Coptic Christians in two church bombings in Egypt.

Terror attacks have become the norm. They’re not even a big deal anymore. There are too many to count in the Middle East and Africa. Terror is now expected and accepted by “leaders” in the West. London’s first Muslim mayor said in response to the bombings in New York and New Jersey last September (which you may already have forgotten about) that “part and parcel of living in a great, global city is that you’ve got to be prepared” for terror attacks.

It would be better and wiser to keep Muslims out of our countries. WND journalist Leo Hohmann points out that Japan has no problem of Islamic terrorism in its borders, as it has a permanent ban on refugees from Muslim countries. Hohmann reports terror is not happening in Poland, Slovenia or Hungary, either – because they keep Muslim migrants out. But the wicked United Nations and European Union pressure these countries to take in refugees, threatening billions of dollars in fines, legal action and “consequences” – to quit protecting their own people. Instead, they welcome unknown refugees like politically correct countries do.

For decades, governments in Western countries have put their citizens at risk by welcoming their enemies. When these enemies kill their people, government officials pay lip service to “thoughts and prayers” for the victims and their families. They need to be thinking and praying before they endanger their citizens like unfaithful, deadbeat public servants.

Our government has one job: to protect the people. It has failed over and over again. When will We the People overcome our weakness in electing wicked leaders who put our lives on the line?

Europe will fall to Islam. There is nothing to stop the jihadist takeover, because white people are too weak. When you elect “leaders” who accept your enemy into your country, you are weak. Remember the Brussels bombings? The Paris attacks? In response to the Bastille Day truck attack in Nice that killed 86 and injured 434, Trump observed, “France is no longer France.” Whole neighborhoods in France, England, Germany and Sweden are “no-go zones” taken-over by Muslims enforcing Shariah law.

It’s concerning that the influx of Muslim “refugees” under Trump has increased and not slowed, thanks, no doubt, to Obama holdovers in the State Department’s Office of Refugee Resettlement, apparently with the blessing of the DOJ. A big influx of mostly Muslim refugees was predicted by WND in March, and increases were reported by Breitbart this weekend.

Trump has a huge mess left by former Presidents Barack Obama (the most pro-Islamic president ever), George Bush and Bill Clinton, including 2.6 million permanent employees in the federal bureaucracy and 4,000 political appointees who mostly oppose Trump’s swamp-draining.

There are many parties to the same evil at work: 1) the “evil losers in life” as Trump branded the terrorists, 2) our government, liberal media, phony churches, activists and nonprofits whose false compassion for “refugees” and aliens, and greed for money and power, opens us up to attack, and 3) We the People, who allow our government to put our lives on the line.

Most reading WND support neither Shariah nor liberalism, which surrenders to Shariah, but many of us complain and feel helpless to stop the madness. We’ve seen major players in the media attacked and taken down after they stood in the way of political correctness.

Order Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson’s book, “The Antidote: Healing America from the Poison of Hate, Blame, and Victimhood

At Fox News, the children of evil took out Roger Ailes, Bill O’Reilly and Bill Shine, and they make major threats against Sean Hannity. These men were part of the reason America held onto a semblance of sanity. They helped expose Islamic terrorist training camps in America and the enemies within our government and liberal media who are more concerned about “Islamophobia” than terrorism.

But another man, President Trump, stood alone in a swamp of cowardly, politically correct politicians and won for America. How can we support him in his promises to protect us?

The anger of the “evil losers” in ISIS and al-Qaida is not unlike the anger of murderers in our cities, or your own when you act out in rage. And the weakness of politicians is not unlike the leniency of so many mothers of thugs who excuse and deny their children’s criminal behavior and lack of character, or your own when you accept sin.

My best advice is that you look within yourself, pray and overcome the weakness that holds you back in life, in your family and in business. We all can see the weakness of RINOs and the wickedness of liberals who usher evil into the country. But have you dealt with the weakness and wickedness in yourself?

What is Donald Trump’s Sin? 0 (0)

What is Donald Trump’s Sin?

by Bill Lockwood

Donald Trump has once again excited the entire news cycle with his comments regarding the United States district court judge, Gonzalo Curiel. The Mexican heritage of Curiel, Trump claims, renders him to be not impartial in overseeing the Trump University lawsuit case. Trump has promised the American voter that, if he becomes president, he will build a wall to help stop illegal immigration from Mexico. The extreme un-favorability that this proposal has aroused with liberals in general, and with all radical Mexican groups within the United States has affected even Curiel, according to Trump.

Trump’s outspokenness has rattled even so-called “conservatives” such as Newt Gingrich. Gingrich was quick to say that this stance was a huge mistake for Trump. Setting aside the fact that Curiel is indeed a member of an attorney’s group called La Raza Lawyers of San Diego which has a direct link to the communist-leaning National Council of La Raza on its website, I am asking “What is Trump’s Sin in This?”

The fundamental doctrine which underlies the entire American liberal way of thinking is that there is “systemic racism” built into our entire culture. And the reason it is in our “system” is because it is engrained in our thinking, too. We are expected to accept, believe, and act on the “fact” that “racial” preferences or “racial” prejudices underlie the way we behave in every area. This doctrine, however, is only understood, but never given a voice.

Consider prison populations, for example. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics almost 3% of black males of the United States were imprisoned at the end of 2013 compared with only 0.5% of white males. The Center for American Progress, a liberal think-tank, claims that people of color make up only 30% of our United States population but comprise 60% of the prison population. It is insisted that this “racial disparity” that is “inherent in our justice system” must be eliminated. This would be “racial justice.”

All discussion as to why these statistics are true begins with the assumption of “systemic racism”—that it is the result of racial bias in our white-controlled system. But what must never be considered, mentioned, or even breathed– is the suggestion that we have various minority sub-cultures in our society which, for one reason or another, foster lawlessness.

Political correctness, aka liberalism, demands that we begin with the assumption that disparities such as the above be assumed to have root in prejudice among the majority population. When blacks are being tried in a courtroom, our cultural leaders insist that we must have blacks on the jury. Otherwise, no fair trial.

For this same reason we maintain racial quotas in hiring, in the military leadership, in admission policies at the University level. So pervasive is this unspoken word that it has seeped down to the local school systems where principals are ordered by school districts to STOP sending minorities to separate facilities because of classroom disruptions. Teachers are expected to remain mute to the underlying accusation that they punish minority children in the school system because they are prejudiced—not because these children have truly disrupted the classroom. All are meekly and obediently to accept the belief that races have built within their own thinking a favorability or un-favorability toward racial differences.

So, what is Donald Trump’s sin that has unsettled everyone? He just spoke out loud what no one else dares to say. The Emperor has no clothes as he marches down the parade route and all are expected to smile and accept what he has been told—that his garments are glorious. Trump is like the boy who spoke the obvious but what was to remain unspoken—the Emperor is naked.
