Bill Lockwood: Catholic High School Students Harassed by Indians & The Liberal Culture 0 (0)

by Bill Lockwood

Covington Catholic high school students waiting for buses to pick them up after participating in the annual March for Life last Friday at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. were accosted by Indians led by Nathan Phillips.

Chanting an American Indian Movement religious song while beating a hand-held drum, Phillips approached the group of teens from Covington, KY, some of whom were wearing MAGA hats, and singling out one white boy, invaded his space continuing to chant. Other Indians joined Phillips as he confronted the teenagers. The boys appeared to remain calm and respectful.

The incident was recorded and has gone viral. Immediately, a firestorm of hatred was unleashed against the Catholic High School boys by the Main Stream Media, actors, and politicians for the boys’ supposed terrible treatment of “Native Americans.”

MSNBC announced that “Covington High School students wearing MAGA hats surrounded and taunted a Native American man as he performed the ‘American Indian Movement’ song about strength and courage.” How dare he!!

Reza Aslan tweeted: “An honest question: Have you ever seen a more punchable face than this kids’?” So much for toning down the rhetoric in America. In another tweet he referred to the boys as a “frothing mass of MAGA youth.”

Bishop Talbert Swan, an American prelate of the Church of God in Christ, referred to the students as “racist little white punks in MAGA hats spawned from the seeds of white supremacists harassed, mocked and ridiculed a Native American elder.” Talbert seems to be trying to get in front of the liberal hate-fest and lead it.

Jack Morrissey wrote, “#MAGA kids go screaming, hats first, into the wood-chipper.” He illustrated it with a bloody image.

Kathy Griffin wrote, “Name these kids. I want NAMES. Shame them.” The insinuation here is frightening.

Alyssa Milano added, “Without white boys being able to empathize with other people, humanity will continue to destroy itself.”

Not to be outdone, Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) intoned: “I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of teenagers wearing MAGA hats until we can figure out what is going on. They seem to be poisoning young minds.”

Probably worse than the frenzied rush to judgment by public figures, The Diocese of Covington and Covington Catholic High School hurriedly fell over themselves to apologize to the entire nation for the misconduct of the High School boys.

We condemn the actions of the Covington Catholic High School students towards Nathan Phillips specifically, and Native Americans in general, Jan. 18, after the March for Life, in Washington, D.C. We extend our deepest apologies to Mr. Phillips. This behavior is opposed to the Church’s teachings on the dignity and respect of the human person. The matter is being investigated and we will take appropriate action, up to and including expulsion. We know this incident has tainted the entire witness of the March for Life and express our most sincere apologies to all those who attended the March and all those who support the pro-life movement.

What is the Message?

The message is loud and clear to America. If you are a white conservative male, and especially if you profess Christianity—or if you are a Trump supporter: which is a double jeopardy against you; you are a cancer to society. You have always been the disease; you continue to be the plague that destroys the entire welfare of the planet. That is the plain bold unspoken assumption that moves our un-civilization at this point: there is nothing else that explains how our main stream culture so consistently ran with a patent lie and continues to spin the same negative news cycle on a daily basis.

This assumption also drives the ridiculous accusation of White Privilege that commentators continually chirp.

Some of the afore-mentioned comments about the Catholic boys from public figures are so grotesquely inappropriate as to stoke fires of rage across our nation.  These public figures, including the Congressman, are doing everything but putting guns into the hands of the ignorant minions and pulling the trigger.  To what other action could Kathy Griffith’s or Jack Morrissey’s tweets lead? And it only empowers these leftist haters that those who should bring some adult common-sense to the table—such as the Covington Diocese—are running backwards so quickly that they cannot see facts.

Actually, the Covington Diocese that apologized to Mr. Phillips regarding the incident appears to have been written before any incident occurred. The Diocese probably keeps this apology on hand for any future incident—because it will always be the white male that is blamed—regardless of facts. Any future altercation involving professing Christians will be the Christians’ fault. The cultural message here: “don’t embrace Christianity; we are sorry some people do.”

The same is true on Talbert Swan’s take. Since any controversy or dispute between a minority and a white person –especially if they are wearing a MAGA hat–will be the white person’s fault; don’t wear a MAGA hat. This is exactly what spineless mindless Rep. John Yarmuth said. Stop supporting Trump.

Further, as the Diocese and the Congressman shamed themselves by suggesting eliminating freedom of speech for conservatives, that in itself emboldened the communist-inspired American Indian Movement (AIM) to schedule a protest outside of Covington Catholic High School.  It was later moved to the Archdiocese of Covington.

Lest any question the communist connection of AIM, note that the communist publication People’s World (which began as Daily Worker in 1924), champions AIM as necessary to divide America. The SocailistWorker.org also glorifies the AIM as a socialist movement designed to destroy the United States. The usage of American Indians to this end is clear. From an article published just last August on its website:

As we see a wave of Indigenous resistance on a scale not seen since the 1970s, with the rise of Idle No More in Canada, fights against pipelines at Standing Rock and countless other locations and the #NativeLivesMatter movement, its vital for us to learn the radical history of AIM.

The best way to honor that history is to continue to resist and fight racism and discrimination while calling on the U.S. for reparations and self-determination — and to put forward a vision of socialism and Native liberation that ends the exploitation of the earth and the destruction of Indigenous land, and puts the fight against capitalism and settler-colonialism at the core of our resistance.

America is already in the throes of a civil war. Carnal weapons on a bloody field are not yet in use—but not because the left is not seeking to inspire it. The daily news cycle shows one thing: facts do not matter. Only communist ideology of divide and conquer does.

Jesse Lee Peterson: Angry liberals can’t handle truth, shut down my speech 0 (0)

Angry Liberals Can’t Handle Truth, Shut Down My Speech Jesse Lee Peterson gets evicted from event during talk about ‘racism’”

by Jesse Lee Peterson

I spoke to the Southern California Junior State of America, or JSA, winter congress this weekend – to a group of about 860 high schoolers, supposedly 60 to 70 percent liberal. I’ve never seen a better-looking group of young people: The boys wore suits and ties, and the girls wore dresses and heels. (Some wore pantsuits.)

My talk followed a liberal California state assemblyman’s speech. I was scheduled for an hour, consisting of a 25- to 45-minute speech followed by Q&A – but I was thrown out before the 25-minute mark. I started out saying my book, “The Antidote,” proves “racism” does not exist, that it’s a lie made up to divide and conquer through anger. Angry people feel like victims, and all victims are pathetic. (Some loved this message.)

I explained how Barack Obama divided the races like no other time in history, because he’s all about politics, power and wealth – liberals do not care about people. Obama pitted blacks against whites and police. They’d been set up to hate by their lying false leaders over the decades. Most who run into trouble with police are criminals – thugs like Michael Brown or Trayvon Martin, whose home lives I described. The high schoolers burst out in shouting and jeers when I told the truth about the two dead icons of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Around 15 minutes into my talk, the JSA governor, high-school senior Justin Wittekind, asked me to begin Q&A early. Immediately, dozens of students lined up on both sides of the room to ask their questions.
My answers to their questions each caused an uproar. Unfortunately, only about four people – all girls – were allowed to state their case and ask questions before they decided to shut me down completely.

Order Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson’s book, “The Antidote: Healing America from the Poison of Hate, Blame, and Victimhood.”

Two girls questioned my position that “racism” does not exist. They brought statistics they think prove “racism” does exist. I explained that blacks have created a negative reputation for themselves through dangerous neighborhoods, robbery, rape and murder of one another and of white people. I said liberals are liars, and you can’t trust their “studies” or anything a liberal has to say.

One girl said “LGBT rights” are very important to her, and she described disproportionate “LGBT” suffering with information from Human Rights Campaign. I responded by saying there’s no such thing as “LGBT rights.” Before I could elaborate, the crowd burst in cries of outrage. Justin came to the mic and said, “We don’t agree with that,” and that we should not discuss that topic because we won’t agree, and the crowd wouldn’t be able to handle it. But the crowd wanted to hear it and shouted when he cut off the topic.

Before we moved on, I added that the same laws that protect all Americans protect homosexuals and other “LGBT” people. We don’t need “special” laws for “special” people. Finally, one girl asked: If “racism” does not exist, then what is the purpose of Black Lives Matter – why do we need it? I said Black Lives Matter is an evil, angry, agitated group – it’s worse than the KKK.

At this, the crowd screamed louder than ever. One young man tried to rush the stage. He was being pushed back as he shouted that they killed his great-grandfather. (He later interrupted conservative young guys talking to me to dispute the facts about Trayvon Martin. When we left, he cursed at me and flipped me off. He was so angry.)

The adult program director for JSA, liberal feminist Obama supporter Yvonne England, put her hands on me twice to pull me away from the mic and prevent me from speaking. She did not want me to mention God in my speech or say Obama is the worst president we’ve ever had. She told me I’m “never coming back,” upset that I “made kids cry.” I told her not to touch me.

Despite her assault, I concluded my speech to the young people by telling them, “I want you to start thinking for yourself,” to consider what’s right and wrong and not just accept what they’re told. Yvonne stood there fuming behind me.

Justin told the crowd his heart had never beat so fast in his life. He repeatedly promised students the opportunity to talk and interrogate my ideas outside. Students immediately joined me outside. More than ever, young people lack good fathers. So they hate men and they hate truth. Barna Group reports 59 percent of millennials who grew up in the church have dropped out.

I could recognize the young people who are confident and happy. They love me, they’re conservative and they can handle disagreement. They’re in the minority among insane liberal crowds. I pray that they continue to set the example for the other youth who never saw this strength in their homes.

Ron Hosko: Ignorance Posing as Art: Fanning Flames of Police-Citizen Divide 0 (0)

Ignorance Posing as Art: Fanning Flames of Police-Citizen Divide

by Ron Hosko

In January of this year a painting by David Pulphus hangs in a hallway displaying paintings by high school students selected by their member of congress on Capitol Hill in Washington. (AP Photo/Zach Gibson)
Last week, we learned of separate imbroglios in our Nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., both involving what was depicted as “works of art.”
In one case, American University played host to a 9-foot wooden carving by a person using the moniker Rigo 23 which purported to mimic a self-portrait of American Indian “activist” Leonard Peltier. While few would disagree that the history of the American Indian has been replete with sadness and tragedy, the subject matter, Leonard Peltier, was a disgraceful, appalling representative of that struggle.
Simply stated, Peltier is a convicted killer of two FBI Agents, Ron Williams and Jack Coler on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota on June 26, 1975. The killings of agents Williams and Coler were anything but accidental – their car had over 125 bullet holes and their bodies showed evidence of having been killed at close range by a .223 type bullets. The carnage of that day still stands as one of the FBI’s bloodiest.
Rigo 23’s celebrated subject matter has appealed his conviction on multiple grounds, on multiple occasions, each time, including to the U.S. Supreme Court, failing. So he sits, rightfully convicted, in federal prison, currently desperate for an Obama clemency order that will never come.
While starving-artist Rigo 23 and others who blindly believe in the stream of falsities propounded by Peltier and his allies now complain that their freedom of expression is being muted, American University’s eyes have, albeit belatedly, been opened and the wooden disgrace has been removed from its prominent location.  Law enforcement, particularly the FBI, are deaf to the complaints, knowing that mere removal of a patently offensive idol is far gentler treatment than Peltier gave two FBI agents, which was point-blank execution.
Meanwhile, U.S. Congressman Lacy Clay from Missouri, tried to one-up Rigo 23 in a battle for the Most Ignorant award of 2017, when he hung in the Congressional Annex a painting depicting police as pigs. Reportedly painted by a Cardinal Ritter College Prep graduate, the painting was offered heavy praise in the annual Congressional Art competition.
This is the state of affairs in the “conversation” on American criminal justice today – a prominent university displaying a statue of the cold blooded killer of two FBI agents and a U.S. Congressman anointing as a painting competition winner the depiction of police as farm animals and displaying the winning “art” in the halls of Congress. These are the institutions we presumably look to for knowledge, for righteousness, for wisdom.

Kudos to American University for listening to the rest of the story, as provided by the FBI Agents Association, and kudos to Congressman Duncan Hunter for personally removing the Clay painting, over which law enforcement was outraged. These pieces aren’t art, they are ignorance. They ignore the truth. They ignore the true heart of law enforcement. They ignore the challenging state of law enforcement and citizen relations today that need more ways to come together than divide.

Does Congress Believe that “All Men are Created Equal?” 0 (0)

Does Congress Believe that “All Men are Created Equal?” – “We the “plebs” are incapable of sorting out right from wrong. ”

by Bill Lockwood

To Thomas Jefferson and the founding generation “All men are created equal” is a “self-evident truth.” This is one of the fundamental principles upon which the American experiment is grounded. In practical reality this earth-shattering God-given concept is anathema to many who do not view the world in Natural Law terms. It is an affront to the elitist superiority complex that inflicts so many people in power and influence. They are of the mind that some persons are more fit to rule than others. People at large need to be “managed” by the few. This is why throughout the ages men have consistently drifted into power-broker positions which assume that all men are not born equal, but most of us must be controlled; our lives managed by the few.

Just before Christmas President Obama signed a bi-partisan measure passed in the GOP-controlled Congress entitled the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which authorizes $611 billion for the military. But deep within the 1,500-page bill, sponsored by U.S. Senators Rob Portman (R-OH) and Chris Murphy (D-CT), lies a totalitarian scheme entitled the Countering Disinformation and Propaganda Act. It is in bold reality a supervising strategy in which our elected officials will superintend what information we will be fed. Obama has not been whining about “fake news” for nothing.

During debates on the bill as liberal Republican and Democrats sought to push these measures through, it was argued that we need a “whole-government approach” to counter “foreign disinformation and manipulation.” Bottom Line: An official government organ needs to counter foreign government misinformation.

Portman complained that “there is no single U.S. government agency or department charged with the national level development, integration and synchronization of whole-of-government strategies to counter foreign propaganda and disinformation.” These foreign countries, continued the Senator, “spend vast sums of money on advanced broadcast and digital media capabilities, targeted campaigns, funding of foreign political movements, and other efforts to influence key audiences and populations.”

This blatantly unconstitutional measure actually creates a bureaucracy that will serve to funnel “correct news” to media outlets. As Zero-Hedge accurately calls it, the United States has now an official “Ministry of Truth.” Shocking, and a good insight into how government operatives think. Their method of handling the hypocrisy of government agents such as Hillary Clinton, who have been caught in the Main Stream Media bed, is to create an official bedroom where this illegitimacy can occur with government approval.

What Shall We Say to These Things?

I have another suggestion. Let’s consider Congress as “servants of the people.” In this model, the population at large, operating in an open free market, should dialogue, debate, and explore various “news” and “points of view” –through paper, television, internet, etc.–and then We the People will instruct our Congressmen and Senators on how we wish them to vote on particular bills. “We the People” will be the gate-keepers and Congress our servants. Original, isn’t it?

Another thing. Why does Congress itself “debate” and “discuss” various bills with a multiplicity of viewpoints? It is simple. Because these elitist, snobbish, holier-than-thou Congressmen and women think of themselves in superiority terms. Only they can debate and hear both sides. Only official government appointees are mentally capable of entertaining various views and drawing conclusions warranted by evidence. All men are not created equal to these prima donna’s. We the “plebs” are incapable of sorting out right from wrong. “Let us sort through the options,” says Congress, “and we will tell you the correct news.”

What’s next? Disallowing commoners to vote on selected issues? As a matter of fact, that is exactly what exiting European Union Council head just proposed on the international stage. Slovak Prime Minister and EU Council boss Robert Fisco last week urged Council members to begin disallowing citizens in Europe to vote on important issues. “I am asking,” said communist Fisco, “EU leaders to stop with adventures like the British and Italian referendums … on domestic issues which pose a threat to the EU.” Apparently, that is the direction to which America is headed as well. Little difference exists between “disallowing citizens to vote” and “disallowing citizens information from both sides of an issue” that they may intelligently vote.

With the same doctrine the Roman Church throughout its history disallowed its members access to the Holy Scriptures. During the Middle Ages Bibles were literally chained to various structures in their facilities and the continuing belief today is that any interpretation of biblical issues outside the pale of the imprimatur of the Holy See is illegitimate. It was this practice of denying mankind the right of interpretation, based upon his inability to draw proper conclusions, that helped spark the Reformation Movement. Perhaps we need more than a Trump Revolution. We need a complete Reformation of the United States government.

The First Step in Liquidating a Culture…ERASE its Memory- “…ERASE is a vital new tool to help average Americans understand the imminent dangers now threatening the freedoms we have all taken for granted.

by Tom DeWeese

What happens when the forces of evil gain power and the necessary technology to destroy an entire culture for their own means? That is the story of my new political thriller entitled ERASE.

ERASE is set in today’s America. Every government policy I use in the story already exists in our system. Much of the dialog I have given to my characters was said by real policy makers. Many of the scenes in the book really happened. And many of my characters are based on people you may recognize. In my pages they are forced to clearly express their true intentions. It’s not sugar coated!

As Jay Lehr of the Heartland Institute said of ERASE: “The book has all the ingredients of a mystery thriller including murder, mayhem and intrigue, villains, heroes and heroines – but all placed in a framework of today’s reality only slightly exaggerated for impact.”

If you are one of the real heroes out there on the front lines fighting to preserve our freedom then you have faced many of the same evil forces; the same outrageous regulations; the same dire consequences as do my book’s heroes like teacher Brad Jackson; pastor Dave Delray; businessman John Lloyd; and activist Mack Richards. Together they represent the four pillars necessary to preserve our precious Constitution, including: Education, Free Enterprise, Christianity and Political Action.

Like today’s desperate patriots, they are in a race against time to save our precious liberties before it’s too late. To the true heroes in our nation, the folks who attend the council meetings and the school board meetings; those who swallow hard and then speak out against dangerous policies; and who return again and again – I dedicated this book – ERASE. My goal was to give every American the ability to see the whole picture and the hope needed to keep fighting.

The reviews are starting to come in and I am humbled as several of the comments and reviews have compared my book to the likes of Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged and George Orwell’s 1984.

Here are a few of the reviews and comments I have already received about ERASE:

Jay Lehr of the Heartland Institute said: “I think ERASE maybe the most important political novel since 1984, Atlas Shrugged, Brave New World and State of Fear.”

Richard Viguerie’s Conservative Headquarters wrote: “Must Read Book: Tom DeWeese’s ERASE: Like Atlas Shrugged and the Left Behind series Tom DeWeese’s ERASE presents a fictional path through a dystopian future. However, in ERASE every single policy presented in the book, from the use of technology to change our culture; to the use of the public school classrooms to eliminate true knowledge; to the destruction of Christianity in a drive to meld all religions into one powerful tool for government, is all true and happening at this very moment.”

Here’s what other readers have said:

“I am reading Tom DeWeese’s new novel ERASE which has all the flavor of the late Michael Crichton’s State Of Fear and Rand’s Atlas Shrugged.”

“ERASE… in my opinion, is a 21st century version of George Orwell’s 1984.”

“DeWeese ties the Global Agenda into a fictional, fast moving, interesting story that would make anyone understand what is happening to our Country, even if they’d not been paying attention for the past 20 to 30 years. This will be a best seller shortly.”

“Murder, greed, tyranny, Agenda 21, and New World Order, all tied up in a package of deceit … and lying at the front door of the White House. You are going to love this one.”

“It is eye opening, it is necessary, it is suspenseful, it is just well written. The characters are faced with the same fears, the same trying to stop it, the same helplessness that many of us are facing daily as we fight to stop such a dark demon from destroying our real lives.”

“I think the author did an excellent job in tying in all aspects of the world we live in today. Everyone should read it. It is in story form for the benefit of those who can not wrap their minds around the world today. Factfiction I guess you would call it.”

“ERASE gives me hope, that everything wrong will be corrected, that good triumphs over evil.”

“Erase is so incredibly believable; I guess that is because most of the things in it really happened or are happening now in America. It is so good to have it in a novel.”

“You are a terrific writer.  It really flows…”

“It is eye opening, it is necessary, it is suspenseful, it is just well written.”

“I highly recommend the book, both as an excellent suspense novel and maybe one that will open some eyes to a real threat.”

“We finished Erase. WOW!! We really enjoyed it!”

“I finished your book and it really had me thinking, that’s the point right!”

“I am also enjoying your book.”

“Oh it’s good.”

“Exciting read! Each chapter makes you look forward to the next. Relevant to today’s America.”

“I didn’t want to finish it because I didn’t want it to end!”

My book ERASE is a vital new tool to help average Americans understand the imminent dangers now threatening the freedoms we have all taken for granted. Through a fictionalized story ERASE shows everyone the root of those dangers and lets them clearly see what will happen to our society if we don’t take action to preserve our American culture against those who seek to destroy it. As Harold, the ERASE Graffiti Bandit said, ““Check Your Premise… all is not as it seems!”

Bill Lockwood: Obama’s War Against Freedom of Speech 0 (0)

Internet Giveaway: Obama’s War Against Freedom of Speech-“Hate,” like beauty, is the eye of the beholder. “

by Bill Lockwood

The danger is real. The threat is imminent. Under Barack Obama’s direction the United States is set to give up control of the internet to a world body controlled by other socialists such as himself. Obama’s Marxism is not the armchair sort where he simply cogitates about philosophies of life while puffing on a pipe. “Street-organizing” is called such for a reason.

As these lines are being composed Barack Obama, as has become his modus operandi, via the back door, is seeking to curtail freedom of speech. His proposal is to end the U.S. government’s oversight of the internet domain name system by turning it over to a world body called ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) composed of 162 nations. These nations, composed of dictatorships of the communist or Islamic brands, such as China or Iran, will certainly curtail the precious freedoms long-cherished by Americans.

The Left argues that this “danger” outlined above is overblown. No entity would ever “censor” the internet, we are assured by the globalists. As Senator Ted Cruz observed on the floor of Congress recently, “A representative of Iran is already on record stating, ‘we should not take it [for] granted that jurisdiction is already agreed to be totally based on U.S. law.’” Unbelievable. More unbelievable is the fact that this does not cause Barack Obama to even pause in his internet giveaway. He pushes it onto the fast track.

Further, as Cruz pointed out to the Senate, leading technology companies in the United States have already agreed with the European Union to remove ‘hate speech’ from their online platforms. Giant U.S. companies  are currently in the process of “censoring speech” that is deemed unacceptable. “Hate,” like beauty, is the eye of the beholder. Those who have Twitter or Facebook accounts know that this is already occurring.

Freedom of Speech

America has had a long history of cherishing the precious freedom of speech, the free flow and exchange of ideas. Our framers of government fought long and hard that they and we might enjoy this God-given freedom, which had been stifled throughout the governments of history.

Probably the most significant figure of the Founding period in America is Thomas Jefferson. As were all of those remarkable statesmen called Founding Fathers, Jefferson was a fierce lover of freedom. At his First Inaugural Address (1801) the Sage of Monticello admonished future generations, in memorable phraseology, to carefully guard the Freedom of Speech.

The diffusion of information and arraignment of all abuses at the bar of the public reason; freedom of religion; freedom of the press, and freedom of person under the protection of the habeas corpus, and trial by juries impartially selected. These principles form the bright constellation which has gone before us and guided our steps through an age of revolution and reformation.”

The wisdom of our sages and blood of our heroes have been devoted to their attainment. They should be the creed of our political faith, the text of civic instruction, the touchstone by which to try the services of those we trust; and should we wander from them in moments of error or of alarm, let us hasten to retrace our steps and to regain the road which alone leads to peace, liberty, and safety.”

Elsewhere Jefferson rightly connected the freedom of speech with religion. “…Insomuch that whatever violates either throws down the sanctuary which covers the others” (Kentucky Resolutions, 1798).

Benjamin Franklin warned: “Freedom of speech is a principal pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved, and tyranny is erected on its ruins. Republics and limited monarchies derive their strength and vigor from a popular examination into the action of the magistrates.”

Is it the case that this ‘principal pillar of free government’ is near evaporation? Will tyranny indeed be erected on its ruins? Marxist Obama does not cherish this freedom; the liberal establishment does not desire a free flow of ideas. Placing the forum of the internet into globalist hands assures us that tyranny is in the offing.
